So I am currently trying to build a druid that is based on useing frogs. I have many questions. Yes I am some what trying to optimize but mainly trying to achive the fallowing:
-My pc (Jiriya) with be a dex based druid, he needs to be front line capable.
-Giant frog companion that will use tounge to grapple opponents, I would also like him to be battle capable, with high intelligence so it can take all feats. One of them being simple weapon proficiency. I also think it would be awesome to gain constrict or other awesome special abilities.

Enlarge person (works with animal companion) and animal growth later, call him ganabunta and teach him how to smoke. Teaching a frog to use a katana may be too much to ask.
As long as the animal is enlarged he can do good combat maneuvers. Also take a look over the summoner as he can personalize his eidolon as he desires (a big smoking frog with a katana and, ninjutsu use is easy to achive)

So, the first thought that sprang into my head was a dip into Mammoth Rider, so your Frog Companion will grow to Size Huge.
Actually, my first thought was that you get a Froghemoth Animal companion, but I don't think that would work.
My instinct is that if you want a fighting Dex-Based Druid, then when it comes to Wildshaping, you want to go Small, not Big. Get Agile Maneuvers and use Dirty Tricks to make your opponents go Blind. Take levels in Ninja, Vivisectionist, Snakebite Striker Brawler, and stuff to accumulate Sneak Attack Damage Dice. Take Accomplished Sneak Attacker and Precise Strike (Teamwork Feat: your Companion should take that, too, I guess.). Sneak Attack Damage won't go down with Size.
Take levels in Monk and take Panther and Snake Style Feats to get lots of extra Attacks based on your Wisdom and Dex Modifiers.

If being a druid is not necessarily a must hunter is a great class. You become a combat team with your animal companion.
And if you don't mind a bit of multi-classing:
1- level of Swashbuckler Inspired blade (for easy DEX to damage at level 1 with fencing grace, you can even use a buckler)
1- level of brawler snakebite striker for 1d6 sneak attack
and hunter all the way.
Feats: at level 3 boon companion for not losing those 2 levels of animal companion, level 5 accomplished sneak attacker for an extra 1d6.
With outflank and pack flanking you would be doing: weapon damage + DEX + 2D6 per attack. with good accuracy.
Not a fan of multi-classing too much, but not mind a dip, just take the brawler, use the classical dervish dance for dex to damage, get the accomplished sneak attacker feat later and get the same result)

Giant frog animal companion, Nature Fang for some Slayer's goodies, then 1 level in Mammoth Lord at 10th.
Enjoy your huge mount.
To fully get the flavour I would consider a one level dip in UnMonk get the anime punching action and fight using unarmed strike. Works nicely with a flank buddy and outflank, menacing amulet for the frog, dragon style and Dragons Ferocity.
