I am running a Kitsune Bard in PFS play and I would like some advice. His first focus is to be an arcane blaster (evocation) and I took the Flame Dancer archetype to give him access to a few fire spells.
My question is: How do I make him more "helpful" to the rest of the party? Can I use an item that boosts his Bardic Performance bonuses? Perhaps a Feat that adds additional bonuses to his song?

I'm a flagbearer bard (and a kitsune as well). Flagbearer allows me to provide +1 morale to attack and damage. I just turned level 7, and soon will be able to afford the banner of ancient kings so that I can really turn up my performance bonuses. The downside of the flag is that you cannot really let go of it. You have to carry the thing in a hand for it to work. It pretty much means that you are using a spear all the time as a bard.
Other options: be adopted by halflings, pick up the "helpful halfling" aid another trait, and aid your party members with a whip. *Crack!* +4 to attack, or AC, or something else. One at a time, but it's a bigger bonus.
Good luck with your firefox!

I prefer to help by shooting the enemies full of arrows. It is still a case of lead with the song though.
Don't dismiss the value of identifying the threat though. Recognizing something and learning what type of DR it has can make a big difference to your people in melee with the creatures. Sometimes a successful knowledge check can change the course of battle in your favor.

I was trying to figure out a way to get Obscuring Mist to work with it.
A wand of it and either Use Magic Device skill or give it to another player. A lot of the time there will be someone at the table who can activate it.

Regarding the Eversmoking Bottle...I thought I had read a thread several months ago regarding that and how it had been nerfed or something. Maybe the Eversmoking Bottle is not PFS legal?
So far as I can see it is PFS legal (nothing contrary in Additional Resources or Campaign Clarifications) and remains effective in the latest CRB printing.
Fog Cloud can work, but it is only 20' radius (vs 50' to 100' from the bottle) and fixed location. The range on the song is 30', so it is nice for the concealment effect to spread at least that far so the party can spread out while retaining the benefits.
