From the description:
Quote:Four-mirror armor is worn over chainmail to provide added protection, and comes with a spiked helmet with a chainmail hood.Do you need to buy the chainmail separately? What's the listed AC bonus of four mirror armor?
Four mirror armor (in stats) is the same as chainmail, but is 5 lbs heavier and 105gp cheaper. The description strongly implies an added protection above and beyond chainmail, but there are no rules to this effect.

Hmmm...looking at PRD, can't find the 125gp version. All I see is this

Wonderful, so it's in the PRD twice at two different prices.
Thank you for the link.
The price was erratad in Ultimate Combat.
That makes more sense.

That happens all the time Murdock Mudeater. When something shows in multiple places it often has different wording as one source gets updated and another doesn't. Remember they ONLY errata when they reprint, so older parts of the PRD will continue to give incorrect information until the physical book gets another run. Welcome to the wonderful world of Paizo errata.

I don't find having the collected rules having contradictory information "strictly better than WotC". I also don't find that errata having to wait until a book is reprinted as "strictly better than WotC". Thirdly, there is "heavily confusing or downright broken rules" that exist today, so lets just say I disagree with most of your post.

Four piece armor is essentially a composite armor type that includes within it an inferior variety of chainmail.

To be honest, I wouldn't even bother posting issues with their rules if not for being in a PFS game.
A good GM is all you need to resolve any poorly worded rules, but PFS uses a random GM that doesn't have the power that "normal" GM would have. So you need to get the rules sorted out on these forums.
In a normal, locally run RPG group, the GM's word is law and they can tweak rules permanently if they need tweaking. As a player it can be annoying, but ultimately, as long as the rules are mostly consistent, it doesn't really matter what the rules are.
PFS is different. Each session has random players and random GMs. It's luck if the party is balanced. Our GMs are more Referees for pre-generated material, than they are GAME MASTERS. If a rule is in debate, we look it up. It can be fun to play it like this, but the need for errata and FAQs is much greater.
I like that they have the errata and FAQ support they have, but I also think they only need it because of their Organized Play events.

Right there with you, over 140 play credit and over 150 GM credit.
I'm also the first to want more clarifications, FAQ, developer comments on forums. I'll take pretty much anything. But the best way to handle issues, is how I handle them. I don't play characters that use rules elements in debate, or if I do I don't depend on the rules interpretation.

Murdock Mudeater: I NEVER play PFS but I'm often in games where they follow the default rules for various reasons. I'm often playing online so there is no "normal, locally run RPG group" so having a collected set of correct rules is important if you don't want to reprint a books worth of them in a house-rule section instead of working on your game.
While "tweaking" by the DM is cool and expected, it also takes time and posts back and forth. Multiples instances can really slow down a PbP game that can already be slow. So errata is important for those of us not in PFS.
I find it kind of irksome when people assume that only PFS wants/needs errata and FAQ's.
