I've noticed that several forum users have "<name> aka <alias>" shown at the top of their posts, whereas I've just got "<name>". So is it possible for me to get the aka part and if so, how?
Thanks!
Normally, the aka portion refers to a person's normal board handle. For example, if you look up any of my posts in the PFS boards, you will see my real name followed by my board name.
If you want an aka, volunteer to be a venture person for PFS.

I think it also happens as a mouse-over text if you have a "default alias" other than your non-alias username, and you make a post in another alias that is not your default. So, for example, my username is 137ben and my default alias is Deranged_Maniac_Ben. If I make a post with my Spliced Elf Alias, then holding your mouse over the name of the alias ("spliced elf") will show the message "alias of 137ben aka Deranged_Maniac_Ben".

I can tell you for sure that it can be based on the number of posts. Redelia is my original alias and default. It has always been the default. Dorla is an alias for a PBP game, and has more posts than Redelia. Dorla shows up as aka for me.
