Barbarian Class Character Sheet

Pathfinder Adventure Card Society

I was wondering it has been almost 2 weeks or more, and I still have to wonder where is the Barbarian Character Class Deck Character sheets? They have the Monk and Druid character Deck character sheets out as soon as they were released but not the Barbarian, why not?

Chris said here that their team has been overwhelmed with the site issues. I'm hoping it still pops up this week.

Ja, the Humble Bundle has been an unexpected blessing and site muncher.

It has been updated and is available for download now.

Just because I feel compelled to complain about this once per CD release...

Is there any chance of reverting to the original ordering system for the Class Deck lists? That is, by deck number (B, 1, 2...) then alphabetical, rather than pure alphabetical?

The original system made so much more sense to me. I could tell at a glance what potential upgrades I might want to hunt for in the particular scenario I was playing.

I organize my active Class Deck(s) in this fashion as well: If I'm playing Adventure 2, all my Bs, 1s and 2s of each card type are separate from the deck numbers I can't select cards from. Makes both random and non-random selections go more quickly. Having the deck lists organized the same way made so much logical sense.

Does nobody else prefer the original system? I'd be happy to hear why people prefer the pure alphabetical system, as well. Maybe I'm missing something great about it.

Thanks for listening!

I often run two class deck characters in different campaigns out of the same class deck box. To do this, I print out the Class Deck list, once for each character, and mark with pencil the cards in each deck.

Before tearing down a character, I update their sheet, then use the other character's sheet to rebuild that character's deck.

This process is easier with all the cards alphabetized by type. Although honestly, if the cards were sorted by deck, then alphabetized, it wouldn't make much difference to me.

I also prefer it listed by adventure deck number. Makes it easy to see what upgrades I want. But I also put an asterisk next to the upgrades I want so I can tell at a glance what I need.

I can see the advantages to either way, but I prefer by adventure deck number.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I prefer it by AD# then alphabetical. It definitely makes it easier for upgrades especially when a section is split and continues in the next column over.

Plus everyone knows that Rebel Song is always right.

I sort everything by AD#, so yeah, the old lists to which Johnnie refers are much more useful and easy to navigate, for me.

We're open to feedback. Does *anybody* prefer the new way (other than elcoderdude, who says he'd be fine the old way too)?

I like the pure alphabetical, but I don't mini the old neither.

I often wonder about the B rank great club for the Barbarian Deck it has the stats 1d10+1 and it's non magical. and then you have a great club+1 it is magical and then has the same stats as the great club of 1d10+1 is this a typo or am i just going insane?

I asked about this... Mike confirmed that the big bonus is the Magic trait.

In my opinion the old way makes more sense outright: for most of the AP you only care about a subset of cards, so anything from future ADs is just noise. Might as well order by AD so the noise is squirreled away at the end of the list until needed.

Agreed, the old way makes much more sense to me.

Absolutely don't care: 5 minutes after any listing is posted, it is copy pasted on my Excel database, filtered, sorted, reorganized the way I want with all stats tools updated. :-)

THIS! It's visually and organizationally noisy. Thanks for articulating that so perfectly, cosined!

Thanks as well to everyone who's shared their opinion so far, and especially to Vic and co. for engaging.

Would prefer the old way.

On the other hand, I'm considering creating some web tools to teambuild, save characters (both AP and PFSACG), but it's in the very early stages. And with that the sheets are still important, but less so.

I'm just resurrecting this thread because it seemed the best place to say THANK YOU for listening to your fans' feedback and going back to the old listing system on the latest Class Deck sheets! Very happy little elf over here.
