Two weapon fighting using four arms.

I randomly came across the monster Kasatha. This brute is a four armed wild man. There is a possibility, if playing a Kasatha to wield two bows at one time, it is a ranger arc-type. Would it also be possible to fight with two two-handed swords? He would technically have two hands to each sword. Just an interesting monster idea for some crazy campaign I am working on.

Keep in mind that the Kasatha only has one "main" hand, and I'm not totally sure you can wield a two-handed weapon in two off-hands. Be preeeeeetty overpowered if you could. XD

IIRC, Iron Gods has some Kasatha using two two handed weapons. Now, that doesn't mean the average character can do so, but there is precedent.

Technically it doesn't work because a two-handed weapon requires a main hand to be employed and the kasatha only has one main hand, thus he can use a two-handed weapon (even combined with two light or one-handed weapons) but not two. And that's also the reason that archetype you mention does explicitly grant the ability to use two bows, as the handedness limitation in itself isn't dependant on wheter the weapon is ranged or melee.

If you want to houserule it it isn't that overpowered, the fact that the off-hand isn't light would give you a penalty to hit that compensates the increase in damage.

So how would four short swords work. If the monster took the feat two weapon fighting would he get all four attacks at a -2/-2/-2/-2?

You use multi-weapon fighting instead of two weapon fighting

Ummm....People of the Stars has a Ranger Archetype for dual wielding bows for Kasatha
