So I'm thinking about what race to create. We have 20 RP to play with an we can select any racial traits. So we can pick advanced and monstrous.
I fund the trait.
Spell-Like Ability, At-Will (Variable, see Special)
Prerequisites: None.
Benefit: Choose a 3rd-level or lower spell that does not attack a creature or deal damage. Members of this race can use this spell as an at-will spell-like ability. The caster level of the spell is equal to the user's character level.
Special: This trait costs as many RP as twice the level of spell chosen (minimum 2). Up to five spells can be chosen when you take this trait. Each time you take an additional spell, adjust the RP cost of this trait appropriately.
So I was thinking that it would be cool making a character that's built around using one spell. My first thought was dimension door but that's a 4th level spell for every one except summoners and we use the unchained summoner spell list. So i cant use dimension door.
What good spells are there to build around?

It depends on the type of character you want.
Heroism would be very useful for almost any character. A +2 on all attacks, saves and skill checks that last 10 Min. per level is hard to beat.
Invisibility for a stealth based character would be very useful.
If you are not a druid beastshape I would be very handy. The ability to gain a climb speed, fly speed, swim speed, darkvision, low-light vision and scent is great. You also gain their attack form and stat bonus depending on the form.

I was thinking that hast might be good and play a character that lives in a faster time line. If my gm lets me have it permanent instead of casting it.
We are playing with the new action system and have removed the limit on what you can do with the extra action from hast. So i would have 4 acts/round. So his time would move 33% faster then normal.

What type of character are you looking to make? I'm assuming the GM is allowing you to tailor the race to a specific class niche. So, answering that question first, would help to direct which spell would be most useful.
We are allowed to tailor the raise around the class. I don't know what i want to play right now. Probably a 6 level caster like a magus.
The game will start in a couple of months, we need to finish what we are doing now first.

Shield is a very undervalued spell in my opinion, especially for unlimited usage per day using your character level as the CL. Allows you to keep your AC high in melee if you're less interested in the heavier armors for the magus. Plus, being able to stop Magic Missile is not something to sneeze at. A cabal of low level wizards can ruin your day with a volley of magic missile... I have seen it before.
Haste, Invisibility, Fly, Divine Favor, Heroism, Good Hope. These are all fantastic options for you. Personally I like Good Hope over Heroism for the extra +2 to damage! You are only going to notice the 10 min/level over the 1 min/level at 1st level anyway... Even then, most combats don't last 10 rounds. Plus... it's at will.

An anti magic race with dispel magic at will:
A bad luck creature with accursed glare:
I know it's not one spell, but if you used guiding star and locate object you could have an interesting theme going:
A demon that follows a person around, constantly using isolate on them and feeding off of their misery:
A cupid-like being with reckless infatuation:
A being that is born with two bodies, one acting as the familiar for the other and they can cast share senses on each other:
Or an inevitable which casts witness to judge others:
What about a creature with lock-gaze and a gaze attack?
I think I'll stop now so because I might not stop otherwise.

Animate dead would cool.
Channel the Gift would be fun. You are like a magic battery fueling casters around you.
Hold Person would play a lot like a witch with the sleep hex i think.
Paragon Surge would be +2 dex and int and a free feat that you can change each day. use full but less fun then some other things. But a good thing for magus.

Vampiric Touch, Mirror Image and Protection From Evil (Communal) come to my mind. But it depends on how much you care for additional power, whether you care about the RP cost (6 RP are a much higher price than 2 RP) and what themes you like.
Also I'd consider to take multiple spells, especially if they are thematically linked, e.g. Animate Dead, False Life and Vampiric Touch. Or Cure Serious Wounds, Remove Curse and Remove Blindness / Deafness, if you want to somewhat do the cleric.
True Strike would be possible and it works well with the Unchained action economy (2 actions for the spell, last one for the attack). But you will likely mess up the table with that.

If I spend all my RP on spells i can have a total of 10 levels of spells.
and if weaknesses i could have more then 10 level might have 11.
So could for example have Haste 3 levels Paragon Surge 3 levels Heroism 2 levels Divine Favor 1 level Shield 1 level.
And be some sort of magical super fighter. Especially if i can have my gm let them be on permanent instead of being able to cast them. Would mean that i cant use them on allies but still.

A country can wsork like their spores of each person in the country create a king that has all the ideas a thoughts of the citizens. The race could get even more powerful when more of them are together like a shared memory
