I feel kind of bad putting out two GM requests in such short sequence but in all honesty... right now I'm not really in the right headspace to PbP GM Pathfinder [honestly... I don't really GM Pathfinder anymore, I GM a chimera freak of a game somewhat derived from Pathfinder.]
So I'm here seeking a GM to run a Pathfinder Adventure Path unmodified [small tweaks for the sake of story are cool, but mechanically please run it as written] for an All Cleric party. For clarity, I'm looking to participate in an AP that was written for Pathfinder.
In part since I've begun playing an All Wizard Rise of the Runelords I've become intrigued in how the other AP's play out, in part I wish to continue my thought experiment on Mono-casting-class parties and in part it just seems like fun.
I'm willing to either construct and run all Clerics myself or to be a player in a group, either two players each with two clerics or one cleric per player [although if there is a group of players I would request the GM give us time to coordinate our character creation so as to cover as diverse a swath of roles for low level practicality as possible.]
It seems wrong to have one player hogging two-three clerics with another player present, but I suppose if only one or two other players signed up and they were fine with it then I would be willing to do so.
Requesting 20 point buy.

Heh, lots of potential players no GM's thus far.
As far as cleric roles/themes go, which one do you guys want?
For low level survivability I was thinking it might be prudent if everybody retains channel energy at least for the first level or two [become the party that just won't stay down] and then retrains into something else if they want it around level 3-ish.
Thoughts?

Hmm. While only clerics seems like it'd be pretty boring, maybe a party of divine characters could be a good idea. Maybe the gods have decided to deal with the monsters running around all over the place, and called in an inquisition to root the badwrongfun once and for all.
Hmm... Cleric + Warpriest + Inquisitor + Wildcard Divine caster seems like a pretty good spread. As for AP... Carrion Crown would be obvious for something like this, I think.

For the sake of the experiment it's all Clerics Dragon.
That does sound interesting Ridge. I'm not sure Kingmaker would make for a great experiment example because of the massive amounts of downtime, but the only restriction I put on it was no RotL.
If you want to run Kingmaker for a group of Clerics I am totally down to participate.

That was a rather feeble attempt at humor on my part, actually.
:o
Dragon's idea would work for Kingmaker if you wanted to have a holy crusade instead of a directive from the sword lords. Ask the players to pick a common deity, and go forth in the name of ________
An all Cleric would probably have to allow different deity choices to make up for the single class thing, but I really have no idea how you'd set it up in Kingmaker.
Hell's Rebels sounds like it might have a lot of chances for a group of holy men (and women) who serve Chaotic and/or Good gods to forment a 'spiritual revival for Cheliax', but it's pretty skill focused, and you'd want a group that was almost as Charismatic as it was wise.
Legacy of Fire already has a hook for worshipers of Sarenrae (And I think a side quest for Nethrys worshipers) where a temple is reclaimed. Add in another deserted shrine or two in need of being reclaimed and that might work, but when the genie stuff comes in later you could be wishing you loaded up more on arcane material.
Curse of the Crimson Throne has a
Serpent's Skull might work for a group of missionaries who get in over their head. But you'd be hurting for wilderness skills
And no, I'm not volunteering to run any of them, just thinking of how some might work

Lol all clerics Skulls And Shackles!
"Lower your sails and prepare to be proselytized to!"
"Avast! You'll be taking this pamphlet and reading it, scurvy heathen dog!"
"Robbing you? Nonsense, we just be encouraging a steady tithe. Good for the soul."
"Pardon, I charge a reasonable rate for healing...would you be needing some?" "No?" *Stab* "How about now then?"

Oh, I wouldn't be partaking in the experiment. I might run that other thing, though.

Let me think on this.
I have been seriously toying with the idea of running a game of Iron Gods or Giantslayer (since I had them from the lovely subscription service but my home group disbanded before I could run either).
This experiment is somewhat appealing to me but I have seen some of the recruitment threads for Adventure Paths recently and well...they've been quite good with a glut of really excellent characters. So I am not sure if I would want to limit the field this severely.

I think there is enough flexibility in the gods of Golarion and the specific powers that come out of the cleric domains that any number of the plots would work with an all cleric party.
I admit that all cleric S&S would be hilarious but Iron Gods has a lot of promise "ray guns for the gods" and all, lol.

For anybody who hasn't run a PbP before but is interested in trying, I have no problem playing with somebody learning the ropes.
Plus many of the prospective layers have GM'd [or in my case run different PbP games] Pathfinder PbP before and should be able to serve as a resource for advice as well.
Thank you very much. I would give it a try if you want. As for david barker's Emerald spire, I would totally play that, although I have read it through in the past so I think an AP would be better. Again, I can't thank you enough for offering to help.

Wrath of the Righteous sounds excellent.
If both David and Sam are planning to run cleric crews through differing adventures that gives twice the experimental results and allows twice the players to play.
Since I offered to help Sam I'll play in his game.
Good idea. We are still looking for adventures to run and suggestions would be welcome.
