I know the urge to put in an NPC that the GM plays along with the group is pretty tempting. Normally I use mine as a Rival style characters to help motivate other PC's but sometimes it doesn't quite work that way and the PC's try to make friends/Deadly enemies instead out of them (some going out of the way to kill the NPC they so dislike depending on the type of character/or romance in the opposite spectrum)
But that's a story for another time ;-) I figure this might be more fun to see what the GM's themselves would play in this PF setting.
I'd myself would play a Dual-Blooded Human Sorcerer (Abyssal/Infernal) with Noble Scion & Fast learner
Noble Blood: Sarini with the traits Child of Kintargo & Focused Disciple
As I leveled them up I'd also take levels in the Prestige Class: Noble Scion
:D Thoughts and what would you create for this as well?

I'm putting together a three player group and we've decided to buff out the overall party with a NPC character that fills roles the group is lacking. So, since nobody has high healing abilities and the front line is a little light (Bard, Rogue, Sorc), they're getting an Oread Warpriest of Milani to take some hits and do some healing. Which, honestly, warpriest has been high on my list of things to try out for a while.
Though I admit if I were a pure player, Inquisitor or Investigator might have gotten my choice.

Much like Carter Lockhart, I too am playing a character to help flesh out my 3 man party. This time I'm playing Meeka, the Tiefling Urban barbarian to be a main tank. Meeka has a rather unique reason to be apart of the Silver Ravens: she's promised one of our PC's late parents that she would look after the bard who likes to get himself into trouble. I do this to try to mitigate the npc from being a full-out McGuffin who has all the ideas/answers, so Meeka's only real motivation is to make sure that the bard and his friends don't get themselves killed. I have a couple of other npcs to cycle through if Meeka doesn't have a use/role to fill.
One of my other characters is an adapted character I played (as a player) in Skulls and Shackles who is a Halfling Inspired Blade Swashbuckler (Pirate captain) who is a very active member of the Bellflower network and has a very real interest in helping reestablish the network's presence in Kintargo.

If I were to play a character? Well, my first idea might be a halfling Swashbuckler (with his family blade being a longsword and taking the feat that lets him use a Slashing weapon as a piercing one (prereq of Weapon Focus) while also using Dexterity for a damage bonus.
But seeing someone else chose that? ;)
I'd build an Investigator who is a Moriarty type... along the lines of Nicholas Valiarde from Martha Wells' Death of the Necromancer (a book I seriously recommend people read). Someone who, when push comes to shove? Ends up being a hero. But the path he takes to that is his own.

Why an Oread?

Chelish Diva Bard who also happened to be a tiefling (oh the irony of a prejudiced race have a famous member of proper society among it's ranks) and used control/charms/sonic damage to get the job done.
If you're using Blood of Fiends, be sure to take the Whistling Umbilicus feature and some ranks in Perform Wind Instruments.

I was looking through races that give Wis bonuses and it seemed fun. I've played a lot of dwarves, wanted something a bit different. Still 20 ft movement though.

I have a few ideers...
Halfling Bard (Court Bard Archetype)-Son of ex-slaves who fled but only got as far as Kintargo. Born out of slavery so doesn't really know how bad it was for his people. His parents work in a tavern, the Thrashing Badger (spoiler alert...) where a lot of rebellious talk was formulated. His natural wit and humor made him popular with the patrons and they'd sit around and play at being armchair revolutionaries, then the Night of Ashes came and he finds himeself on a list of "Persons of Interest", finding things have just gotten REAL, he falls in with adventurers for mutual protections and finds out what real revolutions are like.
Human Bloodrager (Infernal Bloodline) Parents were both tieflings, but had a seemingly human child. Wanting a better life, they gave him to a middle-classed childless human couple and he was raised as their own. Lately he's been having dreams of Hell, and not as the victim either. His temper has gotten out of control and he doesn't know what's happening. This revolution might be a good outlet for his fury. Fight hellfire with hellfire.
Human Alchemist (Chiurgeon/Vivisectionist) A proud graduate of Alabaster Academy. Though the school has falled on hard times since the scandal of employing the serial killer Mangvhune, he hopes to advance the sciences, and hey, even though he was a murderer, old Mangvhune did have some interesting ideas that could further the science of healing...
Strix Urban Ranger or Investigator with the Wing clipped racial trait- This strix was fascinated by humanity, and would constantly spy and observe on humans. Unfortunately, on his last excursion, he flew too close to a Thrunite patrol and his wings were crippled. He hid in the tiefling section of Kintargo, and hid his wings beneath baggy clothing. Most just assume he's a tiefling. He's become fond of his city, but will report anything he finds out to the other strix, particularly a shift in Chelish power.

I'd like to play lawful good human rogue/fighter/noble scion who wants to see the Thrune kicked out, and so joins up with the rebels in Kintargo, but is quite leery about his new "friends" instituting some kind of Andoren or Galt-like republic.
A rakshasa-blooded tiefling sorcerer with the Rakshasa bloodline. He fancies himself a servant of one of the Rakshasa immortals, whom he has convinced himself stands to gain some kind of advantage against Hell if Kintargo falls out of its orbit. Probably LE or NE in alignment.
Sadly, few people run full campaigns near me so I'm usually the only DM. These concepts will probably stay locked up.
