According to Facebook, two years ago today I was nervously pacing the Paizo booth right as Gen Con opened wondering if anyone would buy this "adventure card game" we had cobbled together. What a weird couple of years it's been since.

That's third PACGiverssary. Second is usually a solid gold laser-etched copy of every character token/role/stat card released so far.

Wow, 2 years already. And to think, what you really should have been nervously pacing about was whether you'd have enough inventory to meet demand.

Two years ago (give or take a couple of weeks) I was awaiting delivery of my copy of PACG RoTR, which I ordered after hearing all the good buzz it received at GenCon, and seeing it on the Hotness List at BGG. Don't regret that order, not one bit :) Hours and hours of fun with this game.

Well, two years ago one of my friends convinced me to try this new game from Paizo. It had roots in Pathfinder that we've been playing for years. Paizo was the first booth that we went to that Thursday morning. We grabbed a copy each along with the character add-on deck. Then the line. Holy crap that was a long line. Wrapped around the Paizo booth and then along the wall past the bathrooms. They even improvised and had people taking exact cash in order to reduce the line. Now I know it wasn't all for PACG RotR but a LOT of people had a copy that first morning.

It's been an adventure these past couple of years and I still love playing it and running Organized Play multiple times a week.

I'm just glad my friend told me about it and we stood in line for it.
