Freelance Forge is an RPG freelancer think-tank, founded in 2014 by participants in that year's contest. In RPG Superstar 2015, three out of the Top 4 contestants were members of Freelance Forge! Our first tip is to establish a presence on the RPG Superstar forums. If you're reading this post, you probably knew that already, but if you're a "lurker," consider introducing yourself and chatting with other contestants about the contest. Voters are more likely to support you if they know you to be a friendly person, and you'll get more enjoyment out of the RPG Superstar experience if you make a few friends along the way.

If you can, try to make sure you share a name and avatar with other contestants too. It's a great way to help make yourself stand out. :p
Now will the UK monolithic Government allow me to become Jacob Fu Adam before submission deadline closes? ;D

I remember this announcement from season 8, but I didn't do anything about it in part because I'm on neither twitter (not sure why, but I don't see how much substance could be exchanged there), nor Facebook ('cuz of privacy issues).
Are there ways of interacting with FF beyond Facebook?
Do you mean to receive the Daily Tips or in general? Most of us are regulars on the forums during RPGSS, but we're always out and about in the general Paizo population. If you are looking for something specific, we're always around and can answer a PM. It kind of depends on what you're looking for.

I don't know about elite (they've let me in). The website listed on Facebook is out of date. First, you have to have an interest in game design. The Top 32 tag helps. :)
Yes. FB (& twitter?) is secondary to the forge itself.

The main Freelance Forge site is actually a forum, which we generally do not share publicly, as it is a private space for our members to brainstorm, offer/receive feedback, and talk shop. Our public website needs some work and we're still working on a good way to make sure the Facebook and Twitter accounts are consistently updated; it turns out that freelancers with full-time day jobs and families are busy people. The forum is where the real action takes place. And yes, the easiest way to get access is to contact me directly and let me know why you're interested. We're a tight group, but by no means exclusive.
