I'm building an Android Barbarian(Savage Technologist) for an Iron Gods campaign, and I need interesting personality quirks to work into the storyline.
It's name is Seven.
Facts about Seven:
Seven is without gender, yet resembles an Android version of Annie Lennox in the "Sweet Dreams" music video, albeit with milk-white skin and blue hair/eyes/circuit-tattoos.
I have re-flavored (With GM permission) the rage function into an "Overclock" idea, which leaves it without personality, while "Overclocking".
Seven does not know where it came from, and only "awoke" recently, under the supervision of Khonnir Baine.
Seven is fascinated with technology, and seeks desperately to discover how it came to exist.
Seven worships Brigh.
Seven seeks to understand the fleshier races and their customs, asking many very obvious questions, often repeatedly. Seven may spend hours a day asking how different Dwarves may enjoy different ales, for example.
Seven is indeed "Fully Functional and Anatomically Correct". But nobody is quite sure exactly what that means.
Can you guys help me with any other ideas?

Complete lack of understanding of social etiquette. Stands too close to people. Stares too much. Doesn't always wear appropriate clothing. No shame.
Writes. All those questions and subsequent answers Seven asks goes into its journals. When it doesn't have a journal handy will write on whatever portable surface is available. Very protective of its collection.
Finds itself absolutely and utterly uninteresting for now. The fact that Seven is unique or different is unimportant and not worth answering questions as to its function or origins. This could then change as the story progresses and Seven realizes the value of understanding who you are and where you come from.
Religiously zealous and/or inept. Loves Brigh and espouses her superiority to all other deities and ideologies even though Seven makes up half of it. Anyone who actually corrects it on Seven's beliefs gets the cold stare and is ignored.

I might take the Overclock idea and flip it. The character is normally without emotions and can only "feel" while raging. Or rather initiating its emotional subroutines is also what triggers its rage...
And now I want to make something like this my next character. Too bad I have a shortage of DMs who allow the android race.

Third Mind |

Perhaps Seven tries to emote but often forgets to. For instance, they rage (or overclock, however that works for you) but only mid way starts actually acting angry.
Or perhaps the emotion is delayed, as if analyzing an emotion long and hard before trying it out to see how it effects those around it. Maybe Seven hears a joke, watches people laugh at it, and a few minutes later after everyone has stopped laughing, begins to laugh awkwardly and hysterically.
Perhaps Seven likes tech so much, they treat it like a living thing. Finds a gun and begins to pet and talk to it.

That's an interesting way to do it.
It also might lead the character to prefer "Overclocking" as opposed to it's standard mode, because feels.

You reminded me of this film.
I'll be borrowing heavily from it now.
I also like the idea of Seven attributing personalities to its tech-based equipment, IE Tom Hanks and Wilson the volleyball.

How do you rage?
Androids have this trait:
Constructed: For the purposes of effects targeting creatures by type (such as a ranger's favored enemy and bane weapons), androids count as both humanoids and constructs. Androids gain a +4 racial bonus on all saving throws against mind-affecting effects, paralysis, poison, and stun effects, are not subject to fatigue or exhaustion, and are immune to disease and sleep effects. Androids can never gain morale bonuses, and are immune to fear effects and all emotion-based effects (2 RP.)
Notice the bold part, a Barbarian's rage bonuses are morale bonuses. Is the "overclocking" removing the morale trait from the bonus?

Unchained rage is an untyped bonus.
We're using a combination Unchained/Savage Technologist.
That said, it doesn't matter, because the Empathy feat exists.

Being unfamiliar with common social mores and customs is a frequent trope. Perhaps it is reflected in his language patterns as well.
He can be verbose like a Sentinel: "This unit has detected a proximity threat, an approaching exothermic expansive airburst, and evasive action is therefore recommended." Instead of "Look out!" or "Fireball! Duck!"
He perhaps sounds like a computer/cyborg? "Affirmative!" Or "I'm sorry <PC>, I'm afraid I can't do that."
Like the idea here.

Wait... What!? I'm not sure exactly what that means either. :P

I'm sure somebody will get the joke.

Ask for a version of this feat: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/letter-fury-goblin but only when someone asks them a series of questions (like: It’s your birthday. Someone gives you a calfskin wallet. How do you react? You’ve got a little boy. He shows you his butterfly collection plus the killing jar. What do you do? You’re watching television. Suddenly you realize there’s a wasp crawling on your arm....)
:D
Or have a dial on him somewhere that he turns up to rage https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mean_Machine_Angel

BBEG: "You'll never defeat my army of evil robots! Your Android cannot save you!"
Party: "You've forgotten one thing, BBEG! This one goes to 11!"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOO5S4vxi0o

I love the idea, she is sure that she is anatomically correct but doesn't really know what that means. She may have never seen another naked person. And if she did see one she would just idly wonder what those growths were. "Inconvenient place for a mole."
Seven is genderless, which is why I picked Annie Lennox's look from Sweet Dreams as the basis for its appearance.
Androgyny is key.
But yes, Seven knows that it is "Fully Functional and Anatomically Correct", but is not quite sure what that means, only that it is true.

I intend to base my Android Barbarian off of the Disney character, 19th Lord of Uranos' Kingdom's Tempest Domain, Drossel Juno Vierzehntes Heizregister Fürstin von Flügel, from the show Fireball.
Disney Japan, is freaking weird.
What the hell is this and why is it so ridiculously charming?

Naomi Armitage, from Armitage III might work.
By the way, the "Awakened from Stasis" trait is fitting, and beneficial:
Awakened from Stasis
Category: Region
Requirement(s): Apostae
Although you were born and lived on Golarion, you recently awakened in a strange vault with no memory of how you got there, surrounded by sleeping creatures of every shape and size in smooth glass eggs, all watched over by uncommunicative crablike automatons. As a side effect of your stasis, you gain all the benefits of 8 hours of sleep in only 2 hours. This allows a spellcaster who must rest to prepare spells to do so after only 2 hours, but does not allow a spellcaster to prepare spells more than once per day.
This allows you to regain rage, after 2 hours rest.
By the way, Savage Technologist is not a valid archetype for the Unchained Barbarian.

My GM allowed it.
Considering it's a 2 person party, the rules got a bit flexible, in order to assist in the survival of the party.

This is all great, I just started the Iron Gods campaign with a Foxdroid (Kitsune+Android) named Gear. Basically I'm trying to be Rocket Raccoon. SO, currently I am a Numerian Scavenger with the hope of becoming a Savage Technologist (once laser pistols are introduced). My question is since androids are immune to fatigue how does your android character react to overclocking? Does he/she take certain penalties similar to fatigue's? Or is Seven just that good that he/she doesn't take any? Thanks...
