Three and a half(ish) years ago I almost made a really, really big mistake.
I almost played in a DnD 4e Encounters session at a local store.
But Kelly Youngblood, the VC here in Houston, grabbed me from their clutches and introduced me to PFS instead.
Best turn of events ever. :)
So it was a great honor that I had the opportunity to sit in on Kelly's 150th session for his 5-Star evaluation game this past weekend.
Kelly has always been a solid role-model here in Houston, runs a tight game, and has a great knowledge of the rules of Pathfinder and PFS. When you sit at one of his tables you know you are in good hands.
So it is with great pleasure that I am able to announce that Kelly has now completed all the requirements to gain his 5th GM star.
Congratulations, Kelly - Very well done.

I remember when ye when ye were mere mortal. Now look at ye...thine stars shine in a Lonely State far from where ye started.
Darn impressive that you have managed to teach so much of the state how to play the game that you learnt in the Bay Area. ;)

Yup, I still have one more hurdle to get past in August (PT Test) but right now it looks like I am going to Alaska at the end of the year.
