Vigilante VMC

Ultimate Intrigue Playtest General Discussion

So... with basic VMC rules we can kinda figure out a potential VMC for Vigilante but I just noticed something... since spell casting for them is tied to a specific ability, not just a part of he skeleton, technically that would allow another class to gain spell casting...

Atleast that is what I am figuring. What do you guys think?

Not much..
and thats assuming they make vmc for this class.
i don't think they're making them for the other new stuff so i'm not sure if it'd ever show up.

I think the VMC right now is:

Roll up an NPC.

This is your Alter-Ego.

Don't lose your 3rd, 7th, 11th, 15th, and 19th level feats, and instead carry on doing exactly what everyone else has been doing with "superhero" type characters for the last 40 years of this game's existence.

Seriously, I think the whole Dual Identities mess and the transformation stuff needs to be worked out LONG before anyone even THINKS about trying to make a VMC of a class that should rightfully, right now, be little more than something more than a giant variant rule that's added onto classes the same way Mythic Tiers are transparent to Class Levels.

I think a VMC would be better suited for this concept than a full class, by far. But I won't get into the why. I think I'll maybe get into what I hope the VMC has though, if there is one.

I want all the dual identity stuff, or the stuff that matters, assuming they heavily drop the amount of time necessary to change between identities. I figure that should cover 2-3 feats. However many aren't taken up by that should give you a talent from a more restricted list of talents, like the Oracle VMC. I don't think they should get the base abilities though.
