Greetings All
I'm about to run my group through RA via Roll20.net, and I was wondering if people knew of some maps for RA without the labels on them. Or Player Made maps etc.
Another question I had is we are using the Volume 1 expansion to start at low level. My plan is just sandbox the whole thing and let the players go where they may. I was wondering what XP track the players should be on slow, medium, or fast?
Any other DM advice anyone wants to throw at me for running RA is more than welcome.
Thank you for your time ladies and gentlemen.

I would put them on the slow track. I have found that even that is faster than I would like it to be.
The only maps I know of are those that were done for d20pro but they are only RA and do not include the changes brought in by the Volume 1 expansion.
At this stage of things I wish that all adventures came with players maps separated out.

For PF I put them on slow track and HALF that - to make it even slower. That being said that may even be too fast, so we are anticipating creating multiple parties (same players) to take on different areas so I can use the whole thing.
I created an RA Q&A resource (similar to many other FGG resource links) you might want to check out and post any questions in over here.

Pexx, send me your email as a pm and I will send you a converted map of the Mouth of Doom. I do not recall where I got it but it has all hidden doors removed and all traps are removed.
I too am using the slow track and that is proving fast. Take my suggestion and don't increase the number or types of monsters they will run into. I have used the Black Skeletons a couple of times and have misused them and also nearly TPK'd the party. We began our game on January 2nd and am playing every other week and they just landed on 3rd level.
I have been using Obsidian Portal to keep journals of the sessions. The link is here.

I agree the slow track is too fast.
Last session they overcame a CR 21 creature and that was too much. Maybe I should use the slow track but cut the xp in half or even a third. That might do it.

brvheart, I sent the only map I have of 3C. It doesn't have a grid on it but neither does it have the traps nor secret doors. I got it from Auxmaulous.
No silverhair - wasn't me, I can't even upload the maps I make otherwise I be posting or sending out full encounters and levels for RA!
Probably got it from Onyxlion from the other RA thread (I know he was sourcing some grid maps for RA).

I can put a grid on it with Roll20 I think. I got all of Aux's stuff thanks:)
I still need to post my expanded environs/low level encounters for Zelkor's Ferry and another low level regional encounter table near encounter 1.
I also have Beyond Castle Calaelen which is basically a new 4 section low level dungeon below the castle that currently only Silverhair has. I don't have a map for it but I sort of lay it out and its an easy draw. If I can find a suitable map making program I can also whip up something to add to the file.
If anyone wants those encounters PM me and I will email you the word doc, if I get enough requests I will just post it in the other thread (spoiler'd for size of course) right after I post the expanded encounter tables.

Fellas-
Is there any chance your cool updates can be donated to FGG's website for all? As I understand it, there is no real changes just some stuff omitted to make them player friendly or web useful? I have no idea if it has been tried, but maybe the FGG folks would be open to a fan content section...
