So I want to make a sorcerer who specializes in Color Spray.
Current build:
Gnome (+1 Illusion DC)
Sorcerer (Arcane) +4 initiative improved familiar later, +1 to DC of spells with Metamagic applied.
Feat: Noble Scion of War (With Improved Initiative, and Circlet of Persuasion = 7+ cha mod to init)
Traits: Magical Lineage (Color Spray) and Wayang Spell Hunter (Color Spray)
Level 2: Oracle (Dual Cursed) of Heavens. Revelation = Awesome Display.
Level 3: (and all subsequent) Sorcerer Feat: Heighten Spell
Level 4: +1 to Cha, +2 Cha headband, and Circlet of Persuasion Color Spray DC 18
Level 5: Feat: Persistent Spell - All spells now persistent and heightened to level 2 DC 19 or 20, depending on level 1 or 2 spell slot, roll in round 2 if passed in round 1. Ring of Revelation (Lesser) [Misfortune]
Level 6: +4 Cha Headband DC is now 21
Level 7: Spontaneous Metafocus (Color Spray)
Level 8: (Sorcerer bonus feat) Spell Focus (Illusion); +1 Cha
Level 9: Greater Spell Focus (Illusion) DC on Color Spray now:
10 (Base) + 1 (Gnome) +1 (Spell Focus) +1 (Greater Spell Focus) + 1 (Arcane Bloodline) + 8(Cha) = 22 + Spell Level (Will vary with Persistent and Heighten from 1 to 4).
Level 10: Nothing
Level 11: Feat: Improved Initiative; +2 Cha tome DC is now 24-27 with a forced preroll from Misfortune, and another the following round from Persistent (which can also be misfortuned) for a total of DC 27 4x over 2 rounds, -9 to HD
Level 12: +1 Cha (Cha is now 19 (base) +3 (levels) +6 (Headband) +2 (Tome) = 30
DC is now 10 (base) +10 (Cha) +1 (Gnome) +1 (Arcane) +1 (Spell Focus) +1 (Greater Spell Focus) = 24 + Spell Level (1-5) = DC 25-29, -10 to HD of monsters.
Did I miss anything?
Oh, forgot: Initiative = 10 (Cha) +3 (Circlet) +4 (Familiar) +4 (Improved Initiative) = +21

I should add curses are Tongues (improving) (at level 8 will get the level 5 bonus to Tongues, and Legalistic.
Possible Alt. for Improved Initaitive is Additional Traits for +2 Initiative and ____, possibly +2 concentration.
Likewise, I could swap out either Magical Lineage or Wayang Spell Hunter for Excitable (+2 initiative) but then I could no longer make CL 1 Persistent Color Spray.
Familiar is Greensting Scorpion, although I was tempted to dip one level of Alchemist for Homunculist for the pseudo improved familiar. It would be a much better as a scout than the Scorpion but I would lose +4 from the scorpion. I would mold it to look like a bat.

One thing that comes to mind: if you're not using a sorcerer archetype already, perhaps you should take Crossblooded and pick up undead? This is so you can affect undead with your Color Spray, which you otherwise can't. (Well, specifically humanoid undead, but that's the majority.)
I'm tired and not a whiz at the system, but I'll give it some thought and post something more if I get an idea. I really like this build concept though. Color spray is the best.
Edit: You could always have a tiny dinosaur for your familiar. You get the same +4 initiative bonus.

It seem like a lot of stuff to put in to a mind affecting Spell with that short range. But why shift over to sorcerer and not stay oracle, pehaps the spirit guide archtype for insane versatility, if you plan on primarily using color spray in combat then there are really no reason to shift over.
And i also like the rod of widen spell.

If you want to maximise Colour Spray usage just stay Oracle. I wouldnt take a delay on casting for a sorcerer and crossblooded is generally a horrible trap for anything other than very decicated blasters.
Sorcerers dont need to focus so much on a single spell as they get access to a wide variety of powerful control options.
On your gear it is doubtful you will have a +2 tome at level 12. Level 12 wealth is 108000, +2 tome is 55000 of that.
If you do stick with this then Improved Initiative seems like overkill. DC is not the only important issue, you also need to consider SR. You may also want spontaneous metafocus so you can always move and cast a metamagicked version of the spell. Metamagic Adept will do you fin for a bit but the numbers of uses are poor.
You will also want to buy a Robe of Arcane Heritage by level 11, it adds 4 to your level for bloodline abilities giving you School Power much earlier.

I will replace Improved Init with something to help overcome SR. Probably Piercing Spell (+5) coupled with a pile of Dweomer's Essence (+5) in case of emergency for a total of +10. At level 12, I could be at 1d20+22 (+12 Spell Level, +5 Piercing, +5 Dweomer's Essence) to overcome SR.
Widen is a definite.
For PFS, I am told you can end way above the CRB wealth/level. I will swap the tome for the Robes of Arcane Heritage for an increase in DC of 2.
SO now have:
DC of Color Spray: 10 (Base) +9 (Cha. Mod.) +2 (School Power) +1 (Bloodline Arcana) +1 (Spell Focus) +1 (Greater Spell Focus) +1 (Gnome Racial) = 25 + Spell Level (1-5) = 26-30.
DC Unchanged for 1d20+17 to overcome SR.
DC 27-29 for 1d20+22 to overcome SR.
Keep in mind I can roll twice if necessary thanks to Misfortune.
You cannot be Dual Cursed and keep Color Spray without a dip as Dual Cursed replaces the spell with Ill Omen.
Mind you . . . Ill Omen has to beat SR, but does not allow a save. . . quickened with the color spray could be fun! Would require a second Oracle level though. . .
