Valentine's Day? FATAL FIVE WAY! Shelyn vs. Calistria vs. Arshea vs. Nocticula vs Eiseth!

Shelyn, called The Eternal Maiden by some, is the goddess of beauty, art, love and music in the Golarion pantheon. She is not, however, a goddess of eroticism, which is a portfolio held by Calistria, known to all as the Savored Sting. However, she brings into the picture the darker aspects of revenge and even pain inflicted with malicious intent, which some would say falls under the auspices of Nocticula, Our Lady in Shadow, the Demon Queen of Lust. HOWEVER, some would say that The Eryines Queen, Eiseth-whom some say is the most potent of the Whore Queens- eclipses her in power. Standing off to the side from all of these extremes is Arshea, a mysterious being who some say represents sex itself, in many ways taking us back to the start of this circle.

Let's say there is some kind of circumstance...say, a six-sided wrestling ring laced with reality-shattering magic that would allow only one profane and/or divine being to leave after the others had been rendered insensate.

Who do you think would walk away with their head held high as champion, leaving their rivals writhing on the ground in...uh...agonyyeah, agony, that's it...?

Everyone loves Shelyn, so the others would wear themselves out fighting each other, and then she'd be able to take care of the exhausted survivor in a loving mercy-kill.

Calistria would lose, but then beat the winner with a metal chair in the parking lot.

Dang it: two attempts to submit this, and it failed and, an hour later, was ninja'd.

When did Valentine's Day become symbolized by porn fests?

I'm a little surprised you haven't already Kickstarted a series of artist commissions to illustrate this.

Whatever the case, the Black Butterfly and Lymnieris will be there to comfort the lonely, each in their own way.

Lymnieris does charge by the day, however. But I think he offers holiday specials along with group deals*.

*Which, hey, might lead to meeting someone special. That's a story to tell the kids down the road.

Hey now...Noone is killing anybody. This is a "wrestling" competition.

No not THAT kind of "wrestling" competition, the one popularized by sports entertainment. Preferably exemplified by TNA before they sold out to WWE.

A loss on Calistria's part would mean a new definition of "vengeance" on her part as she works over the victor, I'm sure.

Sorry, no Forgotten Realms deities invited. Everyone knows I hate Forgotten Realms.

What would probably happen:
Announcer:Sharess? She's not even supposed to be here tonight! What's she doing with that table? Oh my GAWD! The CARNAGE!!!! The ref is ringing the bell to end the match but she's not paying attention! Security has been called to the ring in the form of Inevitables, but my GAWD, she's even taking them on! Sharess, the goddess of cats and sensuality has spoiled this event...

Because I don't want anyone to die. Lamashtu cannot be trusted to not dine upon Shelyn.

I think Lymnieris would make a better announcer, even a referree, than a competitor. I did think of Lymneris a great deal, but ultimately did not choose to have (them?) join in.

Nocticula. Because she would form tag team with her brother (for a price to be discussed later).

Also. No love challenge to Iomedae? Are the rest too afraid that she is too competent at martial sports such as wrestling? What about Sarenrea or Urgathoa? They might want to participate too!

Pharasma would probably bow out knowing the results before the fight. She is too busy anyway.

Nocticula would win this one. She's got a great history of assassinating rivals. She'd wait till someone was down, blindside whoever got off their finisher, then take the win. Besides, she's the unseen patron of the Succubus in a Grapple thread; she already has an edge right there.

No, I think she can. EVERYONE loves Shelyn. That includes even now-divine demon lords. In fact, if anything could get Lamashtu flustered and shy, it's Shelyn.

Flustershy Lamashtu would still be possessed of a burning desire to enjoy Shelyn in ways that would cause her to cease to be.

I would say that as ascended qlippoth Rovagug is being so alien that love becomes meaningless notion, like most mortal ideas.

Pathfinder Wiki gets stuff wrong sometimes =P

That quote is an older one, sourced in older material that is probably retconned by the new ISG.

Lesse...

Shelyn and Arshea team up, as does Calistria and Nocticula. Eiseth, forever alone, is defeated.

Now it's the righteous vs. the chaotics, but the latter have the favor of James Jacobs so they win.

Now it's Calistria vs. Nocticula...but, once again, it's the latter who has the favor of the creative director, and Nocticula was looking for a spot in the Big 20 anyway...
