Hey gang, I was trying to submit my entry. But when I clicked on the preview, it had my full name and my avatar on it, just like on this post.
I tried creating a new forum alias to alleviate this, but when I clicked the preview again, it still had my name and avatar!
The LAST thing I want to have happen is to be DQed because of this.
Is that appearance of my name and avatar supposed to happen? Do only the judges see those names and avatars? What do I do?

That is how it works, you are ok. It won't show on the entry.

Azouth is right you are fine. Not even the judges see your name and avatar on the judges forums. What you are seeing in the preview is how everyone will see your entry when the winners are revealed and only if you make the top 32.
That's a very good thing to note, I will update my pdf accordingly when I get a spare moment.
Very good question, it hadn't even occurred to me that the preview could cause worries like that.
