Speed runs -PFS style

Advice

One of the lottery events for PaizoCon got me thinking. The event starts at the first encounter in the new Emerald Spire super dungeon and the challenge is to get as far as your party can in 4 hours. So what PFS character would you take in a super dungeon to progress as fast as possible in a speed run?

Vivesectionist/Beast morph alchemist? Summoner? Druid?

I just checked and its not limited to PFS eligible only so go all out no holds bar. Vivisectionist would be nasty as would synergist.

and leveling up as needed? 2Handed fighter most likely.

Grand Lodge

Blaster caster seeker oracle with the flame mystery (and dip into Crossblooded). Can detect and disable traps of all kinds, fry anything that moves and support in and out of combat if for some reason things go awry. Plus we don't run out of magic.

Of course, I might be slightly biased. ^_^

Scarab Sages

If they are allowing everything, not just PFS only, Scarred Witch Doctor. 20 CON, Unlimited Hexes, really Nasty Hex and Spell DC.

Dual-cursed Lunar Oracle with super CHA synergy. For Bonus Points be a Half-Elf (or count as one) and you to can find traps, by Paragon Surging up Improved Eldritch Heritage Arcane to get Aram Zey's Focus as a spell and a cast it. Or whatever spell you happen to need. Did I mention the animal companion? That you can have fast advanced if your Aasimar? Or the spell Bestow Grace/Bestow Grace of the Champion. Or the fact that Misfortune is amazing?

Alternatively, a False Priest Sorcerer can get all kinds of spells for free without even needing Blood Money. Sage False Priest makes for a great skill monkey to. And again, skip seeker, because Aram Zey's Focus. Plus with a Holy Symbol Tatoo and your False Focus feat, you can totally cast Aram Zey's Focus for free.

So if you want your whole party to survive, shouldn't you focus on having a well balanced party instead of just a single, kick-a character? I suppose a fighter optimized for DPR, a skill-monkey rogue, a heal/buff cleric tank and a GOD wizard would be the best right?

@Mark - I agree. I wasnt trying to indicate that each party member needed to be a damage dealer min/maxer. I asked which character would you bring. Some people like playing healers, buffers, and non-direct damage types. They are welcome to share their ideas here. I was thinking of a damage spong fay fondling lay on hands type paladin.

Goblin Rogue or ninja.

Sneak in avoid everything... If the goal is to get in as far as you can not fight as far in as you can...

Youll probably only get to level 2 or 3 so animal companions and 2H martials will probably reign. Mad Dog barbarian is the best of both. I dont know the resting situation but without CLW wands a strong healer might be near necessary and can easily grab a decent STR and a spear and do double duty. On the other hand if the limiting factor is real time not game time you can possibly just leave and rest to your hearts content, but its a gamble

Undead Ghost Ninja - Just float invisibly past everything.

Seriously, I guess a Orc Scarred Witch Doctor with the Slumber Hex and max cons. High HP and a hex you can potentially use on every single opponent no matter how many you meet. Spells for the ones that can't be Slumbered.

A 2HW reach fighter can swing at things all day long (as long as he doesn't run out of HP).

Human ranger archer to stay out of getting hit range. But you won't yet have many of the 'needed' feats. can still be good if can afford a good str bow.

I would be worried about most everything else running out of their uses of X ability if you actually get very far.

Sovereign Court

Does anyone know the rules/parameters of the characters?

I.E. is there a race restriction?
What is the point buy?
What level do you start out at?
Is there a gear restriction?

I Think a group of 2 strong melee dudes one pehaps with a reach weapon. One Ranger damage dealer and one spellcaster on buff and heal duty. Pehaps a barbarian, a magus, a musketmaster and a life oracle.

The rules really make things different. My key questions are.

Are we leveling as we go?
Are there places to rest?
