You can wear them all the time, but the draw back is at low level it costs money you may want to spend on other things. And while more perception is never bad, it's hardly overpowering to be good at seeing things. Also, you may want another eye-slot item at some point other than the Eyes of the Eagle.
In any event, yeah, it works just fine to wear it all the time.

Eyes of the Eagle aren't the worst offender, because they are essentially fancy spectacles. You look like Elton John as Sitri says, or one of those Mad Max types with funny goggles. A bit silly, but it shouldn't have a negative effect. On the other hand, something like Sniper's Goggles should mess with your close range vision if they are worn, all the time, so I'd have my PC wear them on his forehead, pulling them down as a free action. It looks kinda steampunk, but Sniper's Goggles are kinda steampunk.
There are plenty of things you probably should wear all the time. Things like a Headband of Vast Intelligence pretty much has to be permanent. Any time you are not naked you may as well wear your Sleeves of Many Outfits.
Far worse is wearing something like the Mask of Stony Demeanour all the time. Yes, there is a mechanical benefit to keeping it on. But you just know anyone who wears one regularly is a deviant pervert. Properly creepy.

I sleep with my glasses on so i can see my dreams clearly, so i don't see the problem.

No, but you'll look like a dork with those big goofy glasses on all day. Totally not in fashion to cover a pretty face, imo.

Not anywhere as bad as wearing Trueseeing goggles all the time.
A +5 to perception is helpful without being game breaking.
Always seeing the invisible and seeing past illusions can force a GM to rewrite encounters.
One way to turn around the habit of wearing Trueseeing goggles all the time is to use inspiration from Lovecraft's "From Beyond". If you wear the goggles more than a few hours continually, you start seeing...things. Worse, these Things normally ignore those who can't see them, yet now that you sense them, they sense you. And they hunger....for more.

Personally, I describe my character with Eyes of the Eagle looking like Toad in that one scene of X-Men where he's spray painting the fake Statue of Liberty torch.

My first thought when I think about glasses that let you see the truth is They Live by John Carpenter tbh. Funny enough, that's pretty much what constant Truesight does... Hope your not in a setting where you don't want to see the truth.
