We have been playing a Way of the Wicked campaign for the last six months. It has been an excellent experience, with a great GM and great players, all regularly posting. Unfortunately, our GM has recently acquired extra responsibilities and is unable to help us finish this campaign. We would like to find someone who would be willing to take his place.
The original recruitment thread, where you can see the character creation rules, is here. The gameplay thread is here.
We are currently playing with 5 pcs. 4 of us started in the original recruitment, and we added one more (after a few people dropped) once we reached Cardinal Thorne's Mansion. We have a Human Flowing Monk (that's me), a Human Dirge Bard, a Human Fighter, a Human Cleric of Asmodeus and a Drow Anti-Paladin. All of the humans are following the path of the vampire having taken the first two feats listed in recruitment.
Please look over the campaign and the players. We are looking for someone that would fit with our style and would be able to help us continue this campaign. If you feel that you would fit in with this game, and would be willing to GM, please post below with a quick introduction to you and your GM style.

My friend Gary wrote the campaign. I'm currently running a homebrew and just starting a zombie apocalypse game...but let me consider it...I do own WotW, and it would be a blast to run...I did glance at the game, and it looks like a...wicked group...
That would be great if you could do it. If not, that's fine too. I understand you don't want to take on too much.
Considering... Is your DM still around? If so I can ask him some questions.
Our GM said that he is occasionally on the boards and that you would be able to PM him. However we can't expect a speedy response.
And yes, sorry for the confusion, this is the Way of the Wicked. Not the Wrath of the Righteous.

I've been in touch with GM of the Blinding Light and already recieved a very helpful response...I need to read more of your campaign to date...and I'll be pretty busy through Tuesday (throwing a bbq at work)...but I should have an answer shortly thereafter...and I'd be willing and able to start then, too, if it works out. Feel free to send pms with any questions or extra info you feel might be important...that goes for all the players...at least an introduction would be nice. :)

If Eldon falls through send me a PM, Mordesel. I'd have to have a closer look but i'd be willing to pick this up. You can check my DM alias or my Campaigns page for my DM credentials.

my record so far is
1 replacement fill - then died (less than 10 posts later)
14 failed applications (unselected)
1 - you are way to evil for this
1 - I don't like your concept - don't bother applying
Hmmm... Next time, avoid mentioning this stuff and choose a different picture for your alias... It might work, then.

Ok...it looks like most players have seen this thread...so let me use that to my advantage. I've skimmed gameplay...and will read more...but...tell me what your characters have done that will influence the story.
Special friends?
Particular enemies?
Publicly known acts?
Anything it would help for me to know, that I might miss...because I wasn't there from the beginning, and I'd like to make it as seamless as possible.
That said, GMing styles vary...and though - in respect for the excellent game you already have established - I'll try to carry it forward in a very familiar way...I will do some things differently. It's just the nature of GMing...and I have habits developed over 35 years of gaming...not all of them good, I'm sure. :p

For Mordesel, in particular, there was a player who had to drop and became an npc (blinding light said he used Nikita to replace another one from the book). Mordesel and Nikita had a strained relationship as allies (she kept reprimanding him for acting without thinking), then once they reached Thorne's, she became the leader of the other knot, they didn't see each other much after that, but if we did, I'd imagine it wouldn't be friendly.
Also Bellam and I have an interesting relationship. Mordesel watched Bellam go into the secret passage, and Bellam knows he saw. At first he offered Mordesel a bribe to be quiet, but after recent events with Dane (I'll let him tell you about that), Mordesel has repaid that bribe, so they're kind of art a stalemate right now.
I think that's about it. We've all got a special relationship with Dale, a guard from Branderscar, but I'll let Dane tell about him, as he was more involved in it. Most everyone else.
On a side note, Anton has let us know that he has a low posting rate over the weekend, so I don't expect he'll post here until Monday.

Well let's see...
Dane's generally tried to go out of his way to develop friendly relations with most any NPC who's stood out in some way to him.
Initially, there was Dale, a captured guard from Branderscar, who he attempted to convince that his only chance at life after surrendering was to throw his lot entirely in with the party. He seemed to be ready to join on, until the last remnants of the guard holding the gate negotiated for his release in part by saying they'd vouch for him.
He's also generally gone out of his way to make sure that Grumblejack has been well taken care of and kept loyal.
Afterwards, he attempted to get in cozy with the guards in Aldencross to try and to use his disguise to pass himself off as a guard to slip inside the Balentyne Keep. This however, didn't go very well since the guard captain, Eddarly who the men reported to was savvy enough to know something was up and dug into the area that Dane said he was traveling from and had determined that no such "Dale Reeves" was stationed anywhere even near where Dane claimed to have come from. Upon being stuck in a Zone of Truth and getting questioned, Dane dropped his disguise, carefully worded some things to make it sound like "Dale Reeves" was a real guy who was killed by Dane who took his place. This being done to try and ensure that the rest of the party's cover was maintained (the party, is currently supposed to be in route to "Dale's" sister's wedding, and therefore his being outed was rather nasty). So a fight broke out, Dane made a big show of killing Captain Eddarly and some of his men, and fled town.
So Eddarly is dead, and Dane's on the lamb, having fought his way out of town and kidnapped the barmaid Mia, who worked for Bellam. Dane had been making some progress in befriending her before the kidnapping as "Dale."
This all being in part of a plan of Dane's, who, in fear of being shamed in being the last of his family's line is currently attempting to form a harem. To ensure that his family lineage is passed on. Dane originally fished for an answer that he could still breed and bear children (a la Dhampires) when he was originally offered the gift by Cardinal Thorn, but didn't receive any answer that suggested that this was possible. Therefore, he is turning to rather drastic means to ensure that he is able to get on the family-making business as quickly as humanly possible.
I think that covers most of Dane's shenanigans.

Good stuff. Right now, it's looking very likely that I'll take the reins, if you guys want me. Do you have any questions, requests, or anything to ask of me?
In my main game - Shards of the Titanswar, I've switched to story levelling. Would that work for you guys?
Lastly...I can see that Alexander is a popular GM...if he would be preferred by the group...well...no hard feelings. :)
