Midnight raids by the howling hordes of chaos?

The deal that put my vote here fell through, however I'm not looking for another settlement at this time. Perhaps you could offer some incentive (or outright bribery) to keep my vote. Free yak ribs for life from your Endless Yak Bar or something like that.

No deal has fallen through, you misinterpreted the mechanics. If you really wished to match up your settlement vote with company membership, you need to apply.

I have another offer that involves being trampled by Mammoths, only problem is getting some Mammoths.

Got that right. We have an all you can eat buffet lined up for anyone who wants constant PvP and lots of loot.

I'm willing to offer all the venison you can stomach and regular access to a dedicated Cleric.....

(edit: both are virtual, in case there's any questions later when the economy collapses.)

Aragon is looking for refiners and crafters who desire to work with the finest and rarest of materials to be found within the River Kingdoms.

Your skills for refinement, repair and manufacture of martial equipment will be supported at the highest levels. You will be busy, having a steady flow of repair, replacement and new item manufacture orders.

You will have access to the same combat training that our three PvP oriented divisions will have. Because you will also have a certain level of combat readiness, you will never have to feel that you are a second class citizen of Aragon.

Who will be the first handful of individuals looking to become our exclusive crafters? What company will step forward and join us in Aragon to secure that role for their entire company?

Come claim your exclusive place and help make Aragon a thriving home for us all!

Vote for Aragon.

Aren't we due for a blog about crafting and the economy or did I just miss it. Some systems are a lot of fun and some are lame ,so it's kind of hard to commit to it until I see it, for me anyways.

Goblin Squad Member

Well not everyone wants to do PVP, or even the fighting in general, monsters or other players, and for those there is crafting and harvesting. But in general, we are looking to support those that wish to craft as a primary means of income and prestige. Crafting a fine blade is just as important, and can make you just as famous and wealthy, as wielding it.

Goblin Squad Member

Are you thinking about just meeting the needs of your own settlement or are going to set up trade with other settlements. There would be a need for raw materials , finished products might be a harder trade to set up.

Goblin Squad Member

Hmm, I can see doing a raid on Golgotha to 'acquire' some weapons! Ahhh, what a fun way to die!

Take all their shoes and then sell them new ones, trade done the bandit way!

Goblin Squad Member

Well it's kind of making me want to get another account to run around with the UNC crew.

Goblin Squad Member

You are welcome to join with an alt. We have no rules against it.

We use an Ad Hoc raiding system where anyone can fill a slot of one of our six-man groups. This way you get to learn the joys of banditry, and we get greater regional coverage for our operations. We also use it as a recruitment tool. Those that are quick learners and contribute both good times and are good earners will be invited to join UNC as a full member.

Aragon is a training center, first and foremost. We want to take in would be bandits, raiders and assassins and teach them the way to perform these roles in an entertaining and meaningful way.

Goblin Squad Member

Sounds great to me. Most of my time with Aeternum will no doubt be spent guarding caravans or patrolling trade routes. It'll be great knowing there will be some trained personnel out there to fight with, it sucks when it's no challenge.

Personally, I'm looking forward to taking mutual bounties out on 'badguys' and arranging duels that the winner get's paid for (completed bounty/assassination contract).

Anyhow, if I can pull another hundred bucks out of the air I just might sign on with you guys for an alternate play style, perhaps a barbarian head-smasher. We'll see how it goes!

We need more details before deciding how we'll work trade agreements and the like.

Goblin Squad Member

Do you want to join companies who's version of PvPers are FPS players with Military Stewards whom tout their experience in Jr. ROTC, or companies with members who have lead their groups to military victories in Open World PvP games, and whom boast real US Military combat veterans among their ranks?

Don't be fooled by the groups claiming experience when many of their leaders have never headed groups in these types of games (or indeed any games at all for some of them) before.

Aragon's leadership has REAL experience and can lead you to real victories.

Join us today.

As a settlement, we will need to trade (or rob what we need) with other settlements. Since the UNC won't be the only leadership involved with Aragon, trade contracts and agreements will be open to those willing to negotiate, as I would expect all settlements to do.

Goblin Squad Member

We are also looking for craftsman guilds to join us. With Aragon, you know you will be protected.

Goblin Squad Member

Aragon, the place where you know the other members are being honest and straight forward with you.

And people can say whatever you want to say?

On our forums you can say anything. On our TS, you can say anything. In chat, you can say anything. Never a filter in the UNC. Aragon will be a free speech zone.

Anything, eh? So, people can say what in other areas might get them slapped?

You don't even need to use a pooper scooper for your pet Mammoth, now that's freedom.

I feel for the guy you have assigned to follow behind:

"Is there a promotion involved?"
"Oh, yeah. After five years, they give me a brush."

I know Bludd is talking to other groups, not sure past that atm. The crafters can be in the UNC if they choose, not a requirement.

Yes we are seeking a crafting company to make Aragon their home. What they will gain:

1. Full support from the settlement
2. Exclusive crafting contracts from UNC and any other chartered company of Aragon
3. Access to resources, sometimes rare, gathered during raids (low cost).
4. Ability to request specific resources to be raided for
5. The priceless honor of having been chosen by the most PvP oriented settlement and company in PFO, to be our Crafting Company!
6. Rivals will be crushed, looted or both!

Sent in my application to Aragon on goblinworks, along with my buddy.

Cool, we will have our guy grab them.

Come on over to the UNC forum and sign up. You are not required to be a UNC member, but its a place to use for now to get to know you. (that is if you are planning to work with Aragon)

We were going to announce our recruitment of Lifedragn later tonight..... Stranger things have happened!

Yeah, no big deal, the head of TEO uses that avatar.

I had to do a double take and read your name lol.

Dark Archive Goblin Squad Member

Since my girlfriend says she wants to play a cleric I guess I'll go for wizard.

Goblin Squad Member

Cool, both are very valuable.

Are you looking to form your own company? Being crafters? PvPers?

I suppose you could count me as a company of one if you wanted just to get things started .It might help potential crafters to commit to Aragon.

Dark Archive Goblin Squad Member

Likely crafting. I'll see what role I fit into. But with Eve, and Lotro I mostly did crafting and pve.

Dark Archive Goblin Squad Member

I have the double skill training. So maybe wizard to start out with and then expert, or aristocrat when they come out.

Goblin Squad Member

Well we can also discuss your plans on team speak. Just visit our website and will will give you the TS info.
