Late to the party, but wishing you all the best. A pity the Accord didn't work out but I still hope to work alongside you all in a less formal capacity toward a positive gaming experience. Cheers!
As the emphasis of the Accord became more clear it became obvious that it was not just a meta game pledge to adhere to "positive game play" but in actuality it is an accord to adhere to "mutual benefit" of the signatories.
Since our chosen path is to be bandits, raiders, assassins and mercenaries, and being primarily PvP focused, "mutual benefit" is hard to sell to the losing side of PvP.
The other misunderstanding is that this Accord applies to a region of the map and not specific settlement hexes, and it applies to all members as a block. Our contract system is designed to be more focused and in short terms.
The UNC has every intention of participating in positive game play, but that does not include joining an alliance with a self interest that runs counter to our role or play style.

I am small fry, but I like the concept.
Just a point to be made here. If the degree in which the Aragon territory becomes akin to "running the gauntlet", that will not be working as intended.
That doesn't mean we will institute laws to turn SADS or Banditry into crimes, but we will probably crack a few skulls that are over indulging themselves on their freedoms.
PAX guys protecting you are welcome. Granted if they bring siege equipment, we are likely to attack first lol.

Yup, that's why I asked off the top if it was "an in-game alliance or an out of game group working on fostering a good community of players?"
I'm all for devoting to an out of game group of players that want to create a positive community but I think that should be possible without pulling settlements and companies into an in-game alliance since that excludes certain people by its very nature.
Once it became clear that it was an in-game alliance with intentions to promote good gameplay, I opted to stay out.

Understood.
You can opt in to an in game alliance with intentions to promote good game play by destroying our enemies.

Granted, we will not try to make the ladies cry.

This was also the primary reason for my "exit post" in that thread as well. OOC or meta, I am all for joining, hell that should be the whole community anyway, but an in game alliance where it is basically "good guys only" and well, I'm not good IC so np, take care and GL.

Oh, I was hoping it would be cheaper to just skip to the lamentation stage. I have no problem crushing my enemies and driving them before me. For some reason the women never lament though, they are always overjoyed to see me. I just wanted the lamentation "experience", you know?
Now for an important question about your settlement:
What is the name of your most popular tavern going to be in Aragon?
