Whirlwind Question (not about size)

Rules Questions

Say I turn into a Whirlwind and pick up a couple of creatures. According to the PRD, the creatures can act normally with a couple minor penalties.

But, can they attack the whirlwind they are trapped inside of? Do there attacks pass harmlessly thru me?

I have the same issue with the Whirlwind monster ability. It simply does not say. Nowhere does it say the whirlwind-ing monster is immune to attacks. The only conclusion I can come up with atm is that the creature can still be attacked and its AC and other abilities remain the same (except as noted in the whirlwind ability)

Pretty much, they can attack you, and you get one free hit against them each round.

IIRC they do get an attack penalty if they are inside the whirlwind though.

Grand Lodge

They have a -2 to attack and a -4 Dex similar to Entangled condition. Therefore you do have some protection while they are in the whirlwind.

I agree. .
Btw - the ultimate tactics is using call lighting - the whirlwind make it storm damage - so nice
