What all Cleric Domains can a Druid actually choose from initially?

various archetypes for druid have access to substitute domains

look under archetypes in the APG, UM, UC, and ARG, all of which are also in the PRD

look under core classes or spellcasters in the various indexes

Ah. So to get any of the more useful domains(liberation for instance) I would have to take up an Archetype?

To take a specific domain (if available) you need the right archetype.

For the liberation domain you must be a Wolf Shaman (APG), or a Sky Druid (Sylph only) (ARG)

Urban Druid gets access to a lot of unusual domains. Unfortunately not the *really* great ones like Luck and Liberation, but they do have a lot to choose from otherwise.

The APG and the errata on domains opened up some subdomains for druids, too (e.g. ash, ice etc.).

More useful domains? Dude, you need to re-read the plant domain, especially the "growth" sub-domain. Also, check out the feather and fur sub-domains under animal.

You can look up the Varisia book as well as it introduced the varisian clans and associated totems, including domains associated with each clan.

Growth wouldn't help much since Wildshaping would take precedence. I like the Decay one a lot, but unfortunately that would hurt my teammates too. I see that I can turn it on and off when I please though. Otherwise, that's pretty powerful. Most definitely worth considering..

I wasn't aware I was able to take sub-domains unless it stated so. If we take up a domain(From the original choices for instance: Air, Animal, Earth, Fire, Plant, Water, or Weather), does that automatically give us access to the subdomains? I understand that certain parts would be "swapped" depending on what the subdomain states if we choose that one.

You can take the subdomain of any regular domain you have access to, with the exception of Metal. Subdomain PRD, Subdomain FAQ

Under Ultimate Magic, druids have access to some new domains as well:

Aquatic Domain
Arctic Domain
Cave Domain (my fav)
Desert Domain
Eagle Domain
Frog Domain
Jungle Domain
Monkey Domain
Mountain Domain
Plains Domain
Serpent Domain
Swamp Domain
Wolf Domain

So you see, we have lots of domains to choose from. And we can get Vermin companions too!
