You can only eat what they sell at the store, and you only know what you
see on the TV.

It's like they have you trapped in a box.

.

Hmm...

Hmmm...

!

Exactly.

What is it?

Looks like it could be...

Hmm. Maybe I better head out into my vegetable garden and think about this one.

Well, I'm burning books as fast as I can, and I haven't even started burning teachers yet, so I think it'll be a while before they only learn from the GreatTalkyShowyBox.

Since I can only think what they allow me to, I do not see what the problem is.

Corporations determine which books to print too. Only the internet can set us free, but the NSA has that bottled up now.

I'm less worried about corporations deciding and much more worried about state/local school boards with an anti-learning agenda deciding.

Feinstein never met a civil liberty she hasn't disliked.

The real question is why the Corporations have let you say this. Because by your own argument, they have.

I agree. They must be supremely confident in their hold over you and your thoughts. Get back to work.

I still think Electric Wizard/Tensor is an emergent AI that is cramming for its Turing test by haunting the Paizo messageboards.

There's a difference?

YellowDingo has more mangoes and/or trillions.

And string theory. Always string theory.

It's a conspiracy, man.

Good observation. The sheep are easy to spot too. Look up.

Oh, oh! Can I be one of the "sheeple," instead of just a sheep?

Actually, they broke out some time ago, and have been wandering around sp(r)outing corporate propaganda and Intelligent Design ever since.

Oh man. Speaking of String Theorist and their wacky, untestable theory;

on page 2 of their main text book (I guess we can call it their bible), it
says:

1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + ... (to infinity) = -1/12

How can you sum up positive numbers and get a negative result. Wacky.

Pardon me while I go out to my garden and get some fresh veggies and then go read a book.

You can eat what you like, grow it in a garden, use the internet to find information on whatever you like.

Good thing I live in America and there is not such thing as "the store" or "the TV".

Walmart. HBO. Same deal.

I only know what Yellowdingo informs in the OTD.

Works well enough.

I've been working on string theory for awhile now. Still not sure where all this string is coming from...

Considering I own 30% of a food-production company, am I one of the bad guys?

I don't perform on TV, though, so I would only be 30%x50% = 15% bad guy.

Where is the String?

Robe of Infinite Twine.

You can shoot and trap all manner of small game. Cracker folk swear they'd throw a steak to their dogs and eat squirrel. Turtle is good. You can eat palmetto heart if you live in Florida....there's a banquet in the treeline.

1. Grow your own vegetable garden
2. Dig your own well for water
3. Widdle some dice
4. Eat and play D&D

... Freedom.

I dunno if eating DnD is the solution...

Well, in the spirit of covering all different play styles, I heard 5e will include flavour packages with each manual.

Maybe you play with them, maybe you eat them. The game makes no judgement.

Until your wellpump goes out. Or you get waterlogged. Or you have to wash your labcoat at the laundrymat because the well water adds a slight brownish tinge to your whites.

It's a lot more romantic sounding than it is.

What is going to happen is that after WWIII, society and all power structures will be in ruins. The survivors search for something new to believe in, rejecting all isms and churches, seeing them as accomplices. And it just so happens that the thing they find is a complete set of books: The 1st edition AD&D rules. They find a bronze statue of Gary, a number of his Gord the Rogue books, and set Saint Gary as father of their new society. A society where you do have a 50% probability to attack if you see someone with a poisoned dagger. Where harlots get to choose between roles like Expensive Doxy and Slovenly Trull. Where Nobody but human males are allowed a 18/00 strength...

I'm not sure you care, but this video summarizes the proof (in brief), and you can read more about the various methods used to reach the summation on its Wikipedia page.

Reminds me of the goofy math puzzles Martin Gardner used to put in Isaac Asimov magazine every month. He'd mathematically "prove" that you were older than your grandfather or something, usually by dividing by zero or using a normalized divergent series or whatever.

You act like it's a bad thing?
