Corporations determine which books to print too. Only the internet can set us free, but the NSA has that bottled up now.

I'm less worried about corporations deciding and much more worried about state/local school boards with an anti-learning agenda deciding.

Feinstein never met a civil liberty she hasn't disliked.

I agree. They must be supremely confident in their hold over you and your thoughts. Get back to work.

Hmm. Maybe I better head out into my vegetable garden and think about this one.
Of course depending on the origins of your seeds the corp monster might still be in your food....

And string theory. Always string theory.
Oh man. Speaking of String Theorist and their wacky, untestable theory;
on page 2 of their main text book (I guess we can call it their bible), itsays:
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + ... (to infinity) = -1/12
How can you sum up positive numbers and get a negative result. Wacky.

Pardon me while I go out to my garden and get some fresh veggies and then go read a book.
You can eat what you like, grow it in a garden, use the internet to find information on whatever you like.

What is going to happen is that after WWIII, society and all power structures will be in ruins. The survivors search for something new to believe in, rejecting all isms and churches, seeing them as accomplices. And it just so happens that the thing they find is a complete set of books: The 1st edition AD&D rules. They find a bronze statue of Gary, a number of his Gord the Rogue books, and set Saint Gary as father of their new society. A society where you do have a 50% probability to attack if you see someone with a poisoned dagger. Where harlots get to choose between roles like Expensive Doxy and Slovenly Trull. Where Nobody but human males are allowed a 18/00 strength...

I'm not sure you care, but this video summarizes the proof (in brief), and you can read more about the various methods used to reach the summation on its Wikipedia page.

Reminds me of the goofy math puzzles Martin Gardner used to put in Isaac Asimov magazine every month. He'd mathematically "prove" that you were older than your grandfather or something, usually by dividing by zero or using a normalized divergent series or whatever.
