More filigree! Heeheehee!!!

Just had the same item in the same spot. Was kind of funny.
Directly copied from an anime...
This item is kind of a simple, neat idea, with a garbage name. But a clear keep compared to the rest I've seen.

I have an idea: I won't buy the magic item, and just put ranks in the class skill that does a better job!

Ah, there's a joke item. I was getting a little sad that everyone else was getting them and I wasn't. All the joke items I've seen thus far were unintentionally funny.
Just saw one that was well-written and sounded descriptively cool- but didn't really do anything. :(
Ooo. One creepy item I would not be surprised to see in Top 32.
There's an item I've seen a couple of times now...and I hate it. But up against it? An item, called by a core spell's name, that does what the core spell does, and doesn't use the core spell as a crafting requirement.
So...over-powered, under-explained item I hate it is.
Okay, and with that, as Popeye says, I've had all I can stands; I can stands no more. Good night all.
It's kind of weird when a SIAC requires more words to describe its effect than the spell it is mimicking.
Lots of umbrellas this year, too. Maybe I'm spoiled by living in California- were there all sorts of crazy and unusual storms this year in most other parts of the globe?
I hate when people read aloud in public. I'm not sure I like magic items that force me to do it, too. :p
(Just kidding. It's actually not a bad item.)
A creepy item that seemed like a dud at first. But after reading it, mrsancientsensei and I BOTH said "actually, that's pretty cool".
Now it's probably my favorite so far.
Just up-voted an item with major formatting errors over an item with perfect format due to the fact that it had chutzpah...
I feel like the timer is getting longer each time I vote. No matter that it is telling me it is only 1 minute.
Just saw one of those rare over-word-count items. I guess if you don't plan to follow the word limit rules, the format rules must not be too important either.
Lets take the best bits of this class... and just give them to whoever wears the macguffin... oh, and make it cheap.
You know I can honestly say I've seen a couple of items that I wasn't sure were jokes because they were funny but at the same time I really want them and the joke wasn't necessarily the focus of the item but SO MANY spells in cans
Found an anime ripoff and a joke item.
And one item that somehow tries to be a wondrous item...even though the slot and name say otherwise.
Ran into an item way way over 200,000 gp....
Also, don't know if anyone has asked this yet in this thread, but is the proper protocol to have an em-dash for slotless, or "none"? Thus far, I've seen quite a few of both (though the em-dashes are usually hyphens or double hyphens).

You Keep Using That Word, I Do Not Think It Means What You Think It Means

Slot-less is none as of the third? printing of the CRB I believe, however it used to be an em-dash.
SIAK and makes adventuring easier?
Hmm, smell vs taste. Goblins or gnomes? Goblins of course!

I Just voted for and kept a very tongue in cheek item as I was surprised to find but it was done very very well.
This is what people are striving for with the addition of some humor.
"Stuff"? Not inspiring writing...
Hmmmm...I like this one, but you forgot to italicize your spells. Good writing, though, and creative.

OMG, *Red Alert* *Red Alert* *Siren*, nightmare GM item sighted.
No, just NO!
Alas...this one had good visuals, and an interesting premise...but ultimately ended up being a combo SIAK and SAK.
Made entirely of *redacted*.... oh, except for this bit, and that bit, and this other bit.
And on my previous note...
It doesn't matter if you gain the spell's effects in a novel way; if you say "you gain the effects of..." then it's still just a SIAK. Which can work, but you're kind of crippling yourself from the start. It's just plain harder to make a SIAK a Superstar item.
An item that does magically pretty much exactly what its mundane purpose is for. Fortunately, it was up against a similarly unimaginative item, and did it in much less verbiage. So by default, you win!

Wow, found a 50 word item.
More cursed items yeah....
Joke item + SIAC = Not a winner. :(

"This item is really a clever way to help out the GM with bookkeeping."
Hmmmm...while the name is pretty uninspired, the language is phenomenal. Also, I like that it references mechanics from newer books...makes it that much more novel.
This one had a really great name but the item was kind of a letdown. :(
That item...doesn't really seem all that helpful. No wonder it's super-cheap!
Got my first repeat item. Definitely haven't voted on them all.
Hmmmm...gross, bodily fluid item, or gross, non-bodily fluid item?
