Paladin Meat Shield build

Advice

My friends and I have started PF fresh from 3.5 So far we have 2 elf rogues going stabby, a wizard into Eldrich Knight, and my Paladin. I went half-orc mainly because in 3.5, using a half orc was almost unheard of. My role is to be meat shield and heals... no I'm not worried about doling out the harshness. I am wondering the best feats though. Any help would be appreciated.
Str 15
Dex 11
Con 16
Int 12
Wis 11
Cha 18 (+2 for Half Orc)
I put the 12 in INT instead of DEX because of the role in the party. (GM let us know that there will be a lot of religion and nobility based issues and since I am the only one with CHA for Diplomacy, I think that was the best option)
Iomedae is the deity I chose and I had really really meager rolls for my stats, but I ran with them. First level I took Goad from 3.5 complete adventurer so that I can focus on a creature to come at me and let the rogues sneak it to death and because it is a CHA based will save. I went standard Paladin from the core rule book and was thinking this advancement tree:
Each level +1 HP for favored class
3rd Extra Lay on Hands
5th Extra Channeling (+4 LoH that only can be used with Channeling)
7th Extra Smiting (Mainly for Aura of Justice down the road)
8th Shield Focus
9th Extra Lay on Hands
and probably continuing with the LoHs as I can channel more and keep myself alive since LoH is a free action and keep others alive as a standard action. Any help would be awesome.

Shadow Lodge

Hospitaler archetype gives you your own personal pool of channel energy that functions at your paladin level-3. Lets you get some group in-combat heals. Probably want selective channel. Also, how are you getting a feat at level 8?

There is almost no better feat you can choose than Extra Lay on Hands. Seriously, especially for the role you portray - take it early and often. Take Oath of Cengeance to be able to burn a few for offense when you need it.

Consider the Fey Foundling feat and either Elf or Tiefling for their favored class options.

The Sacred Shield archetype is pretty ridiculous. While you yourself don't save on damage, the amount of damage I have prevented for my party has been insane.

Check out Bastion of Good :)

Silver Crusade

You could possibly mix in some oracle with the life mystery. More channeling and some spell casting. But what evolved into the 'Oradin' was Life Link revelation coupled with Lay on Hands.

Forget the name of it but there is a feat where you heal an extra d6 with lay on hands when you don't use a Mercy. buys you a little extra bang for your buck

Greater Mercy

My primary backup character is just this. It's like DR/everything for everyone but yourself...even spells!

Get a Tielfing with Fey Foundling at 1st and Greater Mercy at 3rd and Extra LOH for the rest of your career.

Silver Crusade

if you want to "tank" you have to take feats and spells that allow you to give ac or take damage from allies. eventually they will run past you (after going o, wait.. this isn't working) towards your allies.
