Well, I had no intention of waiting until Christmas, so I opened it (Medium Box) after the kids went to bed last night.

So no Ultra Rare's :( , but that's OK. Lots of good reading material here, and I'm psyched about getting the RA Player's Guide.

If i didn't have an almost comple NG collection and the international shipping wasn't so horrible.... And the budget spent on kickstarters already.

I enjoyed opening mine yesterday (Medium box) - had some neat looking adventures we might be able to fit into one of our AP's, like Vampires & Liches (Tsar/Carrion Crown). Also liked getting Level 7b from Rappan Athuk - will probably pick that up retail sometime, so getting the special exclusive level is great.
Pretty cool.
Unfortunately (or fortunately?!) I have original copies of most of the things on the list in the opening post (pretty much everything barring 'personal' items, signed items, and the like), so I don't need any of those boxes...
... but still darn cool.
I was really hoping to get a copy of RA 7B because I COMPLETELY missed the KS.
Arnwyn, I know the feeling! I also own at least 70% of what has been listed including most of the rares. Yes, they are cool though and if I had the money I would probably get a box or three anyway!

I think I have everything Necro and the Frogs have done, but I bought a box anyway and then bought two mediums. I wish I had bought two large boxes from the start.
I am not buying these to fill in gaps or get things I don't have. I realize the collectors value of this work and I will store it away for later.
For those of you that missed the RA kickstarter, I bought a high level tier with the intention of eventually selling sets. I might be convinced to part with one for a price... :)

I have generally found the gaming collectors market to be a rather fickle one. One year what is real valuable sells for pennies on the dollar the next. Besides, I have never been fond of Lou Zocchi's "collector value" of games in the first place selling games at many times their face value. Remember when baseball cards were the hot item? Now a case of them and $2 will get you a cup of coffee.
I bought 2 large boxes, my first came in 2 days but the 2nd took 6 days and just arrived. Ohh Post Office how you test me. I had every good intention of waiting but the boxes just sat there calling to me so I caved. There was lots of great stuff.

With that in mind, Bill has put this challenge out to all the FGG fans; if we can sell out of ALL of the Large Grab Bags (25 remaining) and another 50 Medium Grab Bags, he will throw ultra rare and collectible items from his personal collection into 3 random grab bags. These are unused items that he has had locked away in his treasure chest for years. Once he remembers how to undo the spell of binding, he will shed a tear and pluck 3 of his favorite items and give them to 3 very lucky gamers. Anyone who has seen his collection will know what gems await them.

Nice haul, Dragonmoon, did you get a golden ticket? Do you have any plans for your extras?
I have not opened it yet. Oddly enough this is my 3rd box, the other 2 did not have tickets. I am still trying to decide what to do with it.
For the rest I am giving them out as christmas presents at our local PFS game day, to include any I already own.
