Also, if I remember reading the new PFS guide to organized play correctly, where it talks about tiers and subtiers, I thought that level 1 characters are only legally allowed to sign up in either tier 1 or 1-5 scenarios according to the new rules.
Can someone verify that please? I believe it is on page 31 of the new guide.

Helaman,
I personally edit it using Nitro PDF, although pretty much any PDF editor works (Foxit, Adobe Acrobat, etc). You can also open the PDF in Photoshop or other Graphics editor of your choice and do it there.
I know a number of GMs print out the Chronicles, sign them by hand, and then scan them, if you're unable to do that.

Usually I will use the comment tool to fill the chronicles, but have to print to PDF using Nitro in order to use the signature tool.

A separate question entirely, Joseph, when we have a discussion/gameplay thread up, how do we let our players know? Will we be able to contact our players? I have two that have contacted me so far, and know a third, but the other two, I have no idea how to contact them...

I'm presently running two full tables of PFS players in parallel games and our next sessions are due to start 6 Oct, and there has been an expression of interest as to whether we could co-ordinate ourselves in with this event.
Although...
I note that GM sign-ups are closed so that current sessions can be filled but as we have two full tables already and don't require recruitment - can we be accommodated still?
If we were able to, how do I keep my groups together in a system that has open recruitment? I wouldn't like to open recruiting and find half of them miss out when more people sign up ahead of them...

I've asked a few podcast to pimp the event, as well as posted links on the PFS online Google Group. Oddly I have one game full and one that only has a single player. I have opened up individual game threads (recruitment only) for my games, and also asked my friends on here to pimp it. Aside from my individual game threads, all of the rest has been focused on the event as a whole, so it may help to open personal recruitment threads for your games.
I've also noticed that there area few games that the DM's are not claiming yet. If you are one of those, that may be the reason players are not joining, thinking the GM has not shown. If you play in local games at a B&M, spread the word. We all know that there are far more players than DMs, and if we build it they will have no choice but to shamble to us and come. If we can really rock this one, that means more goodness will follow.

I suspect many of the dedicated PBPers don't get the chance very often to play in live PFS games (I'm averaging about one a year), and since a PBP game can take a month or two I'm guessing that not a whole lot have the chronicles under their belt to have access to higher level characters.
This is true for me as well. I've got a few characters ranging from a level five, down to a level one, all of which have only been played online. I've been playing the level five for at least two years here, to get to her current level.
Hopefully there are others like me, so if any of my characters make it to higher level, there might be a game or two here to play her in.

How do I keep a table together that has been recruited outside of Warhorn?
If you have a table already, we can accommodate you. You would need to send me an e-mail (listed in the first posting of this thread) with:
- Your Name
- Your Paizo.com E-mail address
- Your PFS #
- Your Warhorn Username
- Location where your PbP is taking place
- Warhorn Usernames for every player at your table
We need this information if you and your table wants to be included in getting product support, boons, and PDF prizes. This allows us to get a better idea about how big the community is and will allow us to plan for the future (which we have some exciting things being discussed right now).
*Note: All of your players must be registered for the PbP Warhorn before I can make the table.
Who will do the reporting for the gameday?
The Online VO team will handle the reporting of this gameday to Paizo.com. After the gameday gets started, we will make a post about how and where to get us that reporting information.

Joseph,
It seems I am a little late to the party on this. I would love to run a table or two if I am still able to do so. I did the GM signup and then saw the post saying it was closed. The players from my 8 PBP sessions to date can attest to my ability to GM. Please let me know if I am able to GM or not.
Thanks!

Will we be allowed to run 7 player tables?
No, 7 player tables will not be allowed. Those tables with 7 players just have folks signing up to be alternates.
Is there a limit to how many tables you can play at?
The only limit for the number of tables you can play at is the number of characters you have created. There is a limit on the number of tables you can GM (2).
