I just ask what scenarios they've played, so I can tie in any past events that may be relevant. Once I see character sheets, if something looks odd I'll ask for the chronicles.
Corsario: Sorry about that. In your posts, you had asked for character sheets, so I think everybody thought you were just looking for the stat blocks, which we will all have included in our profiles. While you are certainly free to request that we upload our chronicles, you are not strictly required to look at them. You may do so if you have concerns about us having the experience/gold that we are claiming to have.
GMs are allowed to request as little or as much information as the want about a player's character. It is not a requirement, but it is a right.

Thanks.
All DMs should take a look at the Blog on the 7th, and help their games out.
:)
Thanks for the answers. I'll ask for them, but won't be a requierement to start the game (just to end it :P )
So, it's the 5th somewhere in the world, right? Right. . .
:)
Correct! It is 1:35AM on the 5th here in Australia. :)
So, looking to hear from Jeremy Chapman for The Sanos Abduction. I have not heard about mustering yet and do not want to miss the game.
My bad. Long day. Jeremy has mustered. Its the Level 2-4 Thorn Keep run by David Higaki I have not heard from. Forgive me Jeremy. :/
David has limited Internet access this week due to traveling. He will contact you as he gets back.
I have had one player drop out of my 1-5 scenario, The Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment. If you're interested in filling the slot, let me know.
It's the 5th here in Australia :) I suppose we start tomorrow then... :p
I've been away for a bit and may have missed it, but what is the event ID etc that we need to complete for Chronicles, and what method do we use to report our sessions?

There will be an email sent to GMs within the next week regarding that information.
What about no-shows, if there is interest, can we fill the places? And how long do we need to wait?
I would probably wait until Monday early evening (stateside anyway), before really considering. I have noticed that games tend to slow down a lot on the weekends and around holidays, and pick back up Sunday night. Not always, but probably a good half the time, based on group.

I have 4 players and have started the RP and briefing, but won't push on until Monday in terms of finding replacements. Got 2 on my wait list anyway.
Remember nothing says you have to have a full table of 6 to play. Sometimes its easier to manage a PbP game with less people then with more.
Some of us have people on a waitlist, I would hate for people to miss out just because we didn't open up a table that wasn't full.
That is fine if you have a waitlist. But some GMs are opening their tables back up to get an additional player after one dropped out.
Ah. Understood. I am just happy that this is turning out to be a success! Being where I am, I do not get to participate in conventions easily at all. Just happy. :)
So uhhhh, there is this game with one more slot and they haven't gotten into an encounter yet (still at the start) The GM said he doesn't mind me joining but the question I have is will I still get credit? Because he is also unsure if I'll miss out on anything.
Normally, if you participated in at least 3 encounters (does not have to be combat encounters) you can receive credit. It's also generally up to the DM as to how late you can join a game.
i would join a pbp game if theres a spot open for a level 1 character id love to try. i could play even higher with a pregen if needed

When will we get an event number to put on the chronicle sheets?
Checked out
https://warhorn.net/events/pfs-pbp-online-gameday/schedule/2013/10
I know things started on the 5th, but is it still possible to join any games?
I think it would be pretty difficult, 0time. We're ten days in which is generally well into at least the first encounter, if not further. Unless there's a particularly slow group out there. :)
Cool, thanks for the response. Just wanted to check as this seems really fun. I hope they do this again :)

We are not even close to done. However, I don't want to get close to done without being ready. It take 10 seconds to generate a number.

Lots of other games are available on the Recruitment forums of this board, 0time.
Tarondor wrote: When will we get an event number to put on the chronicle sheets? judging by the form fillable holiday boon that was sent out, I think the event number is 32688, if so it's a remarkably low number, but that is the event number on the holiday boon.

The game I'm playing over on MythWeavers hasn't got much past the opening Venture-Captain's opening spiel in the last (almost) 2 weeks. Due mainly to the table being overbooked (9 people - they were nice and split the table up into two tables), the time difference between the gm and the players (gm's Aus time, I think the rest of us are non-Aus time), and the icing on the cake of the gm's computer blowing up. Him having to search for a job at the same time doesn't help, either. It's just a landslide of bad karma coming down on us!
I'm in a game here run by some guy named DM Beckett who keeps wanting us to do something called "roleplay". I have no idea what's going on in that campaign.

That's hardly a remarkably low number. The GenCon number started with a 2 and was 5 digits.

Right, I was confused, I thought they were already 6 digits, mixing up player numbers which are six digits now, and event numbers which are not.
In any case, I believe the number is 32688 because that is what the online VO put on the holiday boon.

32688 is the event number for this gameday, and all future PbP Gamedays.
Is it possible to still sign up for this? I'm brand new to the online portion of this and would -really- like to get into a Pathfinder group.

Dylos - What holiday boon?
Savantfox - Afraid not. But there are many, many PFS games starting here all the time. Just keep checking out the Recruitment thread!
I imagine he is referring to this one:
Ascendance-Day Boon
- Jesse [IronHelixx]

If you signed up for a game, I sent out the holiday boon through the email you registered at Warhorn.
One of my games is getting close to the end, so if it's cool with JC and the VO's, and there are enough people, I could probably run another game and still make the cut off without powering through it.
Joseph,
Greycloak from Mythweavers here. Are we allowed to add replacement players for cases where guys have gone AWOL? Would they be added to the boon draw list or would they just be playing for a chronicle?
You can have replacement players. The folks you report at the end of your game are the ones in the drawing for a boon.
I understand how to create an event of my own and report it online, but how do I report my table as part of the online gameday?
