I know this may be beating the dead horse here but I kinda want to know... Did the developers really mean to not give inquisitors gravity bow and/or leaden blades? I have a mid level inquisitor that is constantly being outclassed by the ranger if the party just because he was able to purchase and use a wand or gravity bow early on and not have to worry about use magic device. I dont want to have to multiclass just to gain access to a level 1 spell. I really want inquisitors to be fun on their own merits which for the most part is defiantly the case except for this one thing which has been nagging at me for a while. I would like to hope to think think the paizo just forgot to add these spells to their spell list and if so, would there be any errata in the future?

Gravity Bow and Lead Blades isn't making the Ranger outclass you.
Gravity Bow takes a Longbow from 1d8 to 2d6. So you have a range of 1-8 vs. 2-12. At maximum it is causes him to do 4 more points than you. Is it nice to roll a slightly higher dice pool? Sure. is it causing the ranger to "outclass" you? Doubtful.
Look at your static bonuses vs. the rangers static bonuses. This is where you should see the major difference.
Now, the caveat to this is if you are 1st level or so. At that level combat is swingy and higher dice make a much larger difference. But, you mentioned that he has a wand of gravity bow so I would expect you are somewhat beyond first level.
Bottom line, Gravity Bow and Lead Blades are both cool spells that give you a bit of a boost on your dice pool but they do not really add much damage.
If you NEED gravity bow for an inquisitor to be fun... I just don't know what to tell you.

The Ranger should out class Inquisitor in ranged combat. The Ranger is Full BAB, Bonus prereq free feats, and favored enemy. The ranger should out class the Inquisitor easily. That's not where the Inquisitor's strengths lie though. Give yourself a few rounds of buffing though and you should be able to keep up.

This. Archery is one of the ranger's main schticks.
An Inquisitor's main thing is that they're a half caster (6th level spells) with 3/4 BAB. Buff then attack.

Yup. while he spends a round to pull out the wand and cast gravity bow, you should be casting divine might, or baning (baneing?) your weapon, or using your judgement (often at the same time, since some are swift actions).
This is what makes your damage measure up to a full BAB class, so use those things. Honestly, your round of buffing will actually take you further than his, once you get bane weapon. You add +2 to hit and +2d6 damage, which is MUCH more than gravity bow gives him
