**SPOILERS** What not to do after Rivalrys End

Shadow Lodge

Grand Lodge

I wish to introduce my new adamantine katana to a former society member at the earliest opportunity.

OOC However this would probably not endear me to the other members of the table if playing such a scenario as 14 Many fortunes of Grandmaster Torch (and also end up with my character retired from PFS)

So I am looking to compile a list of scenarios where the party would meet GMT so I can avoid playing them with my now Chelaxian Character. But please do not go into major discussion of plots of said scenarios just respond with the appropriate info (Scenario name and number and I will add it to the list

(They may be evil bastards but at least they keep their word)

Season 0 14 Many Fortunes of Grand Master Torch

This would also be helpful. My former Shadow Lodge oracle has more or less vowed to incinerate Torch the next time she sees him, so it would be awkward playing in any scenario where she would run into him.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Just play them as flashbacks!

With the added wonkiness of being higher level! :P

That'd make it really awkward if you died or something.

The level is already variable due to sub-tiers.

#2-26 The Mantis Prey is a biggie Torch one.

I was referring to the PLAYER'S character being higher level.

Silent Tide features Torch prominently.

"Delirium's Tangle".
"Many Fortunes" is actually not too bad, because you and Torch are antagonists there.
"God's Market Gamble" is much more problematic.

What!?! Wait. Now I hate Torch and I don't have a Shadow Lodge Character and haven't played Rivalry's end.

Hallucinogenic flashbacks!

So you can accept the Spider's level fluctuating but not the PCs?

I didn't say I couldn't accept it, I just said it was "added wonkiness".

Grand Lodge

Oh, no doubt. I deal with PFS as a more 'abstract' campaign. :)

Grand Lodge

So we have

1 Silent Tide
14 Many Fortunes of Grand Master Torch
45 Deliriums Tangle
2 26 Mantis Prey
3 18 Gods Market Gamble

To be honest, there is a lot of Shadow Lodge stuff in Season 2 which may not feature Torch prominently, but might be an issue for your character.

Actually being an ex shadow lodger may make those scenarios easier than an actual shadow lodger. He now knows that those who say they have your interests at heart can be liars. But if you give your word you must keep it That is the way of the Ronin.

You didn't have to sic the boys on me, sir. And you certainly didn't have to order them to fight to the death.

That does remind me.

How many people tried to get the guards to surrender?

Grand Lodge

I would have if we hadn't gone right into combat. Once Torch was gone, there was little reason for the Shadow Lodgers to fight to the death.

Liberty's Edge

All I said was EK! as my wizard met the business end of one of their falchions (should totally have been kukri's) and went unconscious.

posting as my Gunslinger Kyrie

"Don't worry Totch, you won't see the 120 grain Adamantine bullet that I am making for you. You might hear the report of the shot 'Ol Painless' makes from far far away. An I consider a far more kind thing than sone of my fellows would do. Like a certain axe beak riding goblin we both know. Hope I find you first."

I wassn't sure if they were fellow pathfinders or not. Being barbarians they're rather hard to take alive, but we did manage with the last one just in case.

Talkative for a guy who was beaten to death, face-down in a puddle of his own vomit. :)

Liberty's Edge

If you believe that was the real Torch, then I have a wonderful time share property on Olympus Mons that might interest you.....

Grand Lodge

TORCH!!! I... I trusted you! You bastard, you'll pay for this!

*Goes to tattoo parlor to get a Shadow Lodge symbol with a big red X*

(Probably at the same time as the victory tattoo for defeating Krune...)

Scarab Sages

piff... I'm just planning to retire.
Maybe I'll run into my Torchy outside the PFS.

[ooc]or maybe I'll just go back "undercover" for my man... be fun to run as a Secret Shadow Lodge Holdout...[/occ]

Grand Lodge

Freaking doombo... Torch Clones.

No matter how many times it is betrayed, I will give my trust to my allies. How else could I live?

Long.

You obviously haven't seen her healing in action.

What a pitiful life, to think quantity is better than quality.

What is this "quality" of which you speak?
