Serpent's Skull had one of the best starts ever for a AP with the amazing "Souls for Smuggler's Shiv", which Iv'e ran as a standalone adventure. Then, I really liked "Race to Ruin" because ape men totaly do it for me. But the third adventure was the worst product Paizo ever published, period.
Kingmaker is a sandbox, which kills it as far as I'm concerned.
Absolutely agree. SS had a great start (one of the best AP starts IMO, right up there with Crimson Throne and Jade Regent - if you count "We Be Goblins" as the start...), and then from there each adventure seemed to get progressively worse until the final adventure up-ticked things a bit (though still not enough to compensate for the preceeding 3 adventures).
Kingmaker I've only played in, and then only about halfway before a TPK. While I did enjoy it, I can see how others might not - it was very sandboxy and driven by the PCs actions/goals rather than any overarching story. At the point of the TPK, we had no idea who the big bad was (in fact, to this day I still don't know).

I have a request for an AP at some point in the future. If you look at it a certain way, Rise of the Runelords was a redux of Against the Giants, Second Darkness was Vault of the Drow and Shattered Star was Rod of Seven Parts. Please do an Expedition to Barrier Peaks AP, Numeria is a perfect place for it and I have heard that in 2014 we may be getting more info on that area of Golarion. I LIKE Science Fantasy, it's one of the reasons I found SpellJammer so entertaining. There's a few things coming out, soon I hope, that will help me get that SJ flavor back in my Pathfinder but I'm not holding my breath. But if there is a vote going on for the next location for the next AP after the Worldwound and Numeria is on the list, I vote for Numeria.

Clarification: When I said "different locations", I meant "different locations in Osirion" - I can certainly see one adventure taking place entirely in a big city, another one or two in different pyramids, and the rest depend more seriously on the plot of the AP.
What I meant to say is that an Osirion AP is more likely to be about showcasing Osirion than about a single location in Osirion.
Kind of like how Shattered Star and Rise of the Runelords showcase Varisia.
Ah, cool. I get it now.
(Though I would be hesitant to use SStar and RotRL as examples, since Varisia seems to be quite a bit bigger and less focused - and I wasn't impressed with the travel in those [notably SStar], either. Maybe more like Ustalav in Carrion Crown [with that AP only suffering from the poorly designed connections between volumes]...)
Yeah, I'd be okay with an Osirion AP that stays within its borders like Carrion Crown did with Ustalav (though, preferably, I'd like it to be a little tighter...).

You know a Numeria test drive in the new Pathfinder Module template might be less crazy for them to produce.
As for APs:
Exploring Azlant Navy/Hexcrawl.
Osirion follow up to the count down.
Galt revolution.
Taldor/Qadira War, with Hexcrawl/War campaign, played from either both sides.
Reclaiming a Sky Citadel.
Invasion by something from a vault that is let loose upon the surface.
Invasion by Runelord returning from Distant World.
Pandemic brought on by the Four Horseman.

As awesome as I think a Numeria AP would be, I think that perhaps a steampunk AP in the Mana Wastes region would be pretty popular and if anyone can make a badass steampunk adventure it's Paizo. This being said, there is the upcoming module Wardens of the Reborn Forge set in the region so either that is the developers testing the waters to do more or they will leave the concept alone for a little while.

Steampunk AP. YES.
Osirion would be extremely cool, too!
By the way, Liz got me, too.

I would like to see a Darklands AP that actually spends most of its time in the Darklands. Something reminiscent of Descent Into the Depths of the Earth/Shrine of the Kuo-Toa/Vault of the Drow/Queen of the Demon Web Pits, but done well Pathfinder-style with a good story arc. That would be quite awesome. It doesn't even need to have dark elves in it. It's more about the underground world and the lack of access to familiar settlement resources for extended periods.
I also know that it's not likely, but it would be nice to have an introduction to Psionics at some point. Even teaming with Dreamscarred Press to pull it off would be cool (even if it's not one of the main-line Pathfinder APs set in Golarion).
I think that it's unlikely that they would do something in Hold of Belkzen right after Wrath of the Righteous, but putting orcs back to the forefront for a little while would be a nice change.
Osirion sounds cool. I had a lot of fun running LoF, and I wouldn't mind doing something similar again.
I'm also intrigued by some of the lesser-traveled areas of the map like Thuvia and Druma.
I'm ready for something not quite so experimental, though, so I'm not ready for a Numeria campaign just yet. World-hopping and then Mythic should not really be followed by something with the possibility of alien technologies and robots in it. The same goes for the Mana Wastes. Of course, I'm not a big fan of guns at all, so I don't mind if they never go to these places. Was also not a big fan of Spelljammer, so the other planets do not interest me much either.

Vudra would be good...Vudra and psionics would be awesome! Yes, I went there!
Mana Waste or Numeria plus steam punk or clockwork and I am really feeing it!
There is an awful lot of the Empire of Kelish that we have not seen. I could see a Persian Empire kind of thing going on or perhaps travel through this region to Vudra.
