@Charlie George, by any chance a reference to the British Footballer?

I wish, honestly I am too nerdy to even come up with good sports references :)

My name is George "Daniel" Riddle. I normally go by Daniel, but on the last coal plant job I did the foreman kept getting my name wrong. One day he called me Charlie George, and I yelled "Close Enough!'

That has been my nickname ever since. I have grown attached to it :)

Goblin Squad Member

That nickname is rather Curious, George. The avatar looks more 'furious', though.

The shows Dead Like Me and Pushing Daisies were both by Bryan Fuller and both featured a living dead girl with a typically-male nickname; one was called George and the other Chuck.

Hail all,

I'm just announcing to the world that as an applicant to Pax Aeternum guild family, I highly recommend everyone at least check them out. I was pointed here by a real-life friend. After reading their charter, I agreed that this sounded more like a group of friends with common goals than a hard-core guild.

Now, I'm in the two-week "application" period. Which is really more like a two-week introductory period. There really isn't any work to do. Just converse on their boards to let both parties get a feeling about the other.

So, if you think they sound good, give them a shout.

Goblin Squad Member

Hiya Nwevyn! Nice to meet you. :)

I absolutely love Dead Like Me.

@Nwevyn

Many of us have been very busy with side stuff or the "Dreaded" Real World! Aaaaaggghhh!

Just noticed that you hadn't gotten any love and recognition herein.

Super Congratulations and Welcome to Pax Gaming and Pax Aeternum.

We are very glad to have You On board Sir! :)

Sorry I'm late to the party, but I don't get on these boards much, and I post even less, but for you, I'll gladly post. Welcome, Nwevyn!

Is it considered a shamless bump if the bump is by an individual independent from PAX?

Goblin Squad Member

I would say yes... but then that would be self-serving. Much appreciated tho.

Shameless or no, we appreciate your support.

Goblin Squad Member

I see what you did there. :P

I was not aware I did anything crafty

Goblin Squad Member

Looked like a bump to thank a bump to me. But maybe the primary concern was the thanking, and not the bumping.

And would you look at that, we just keep bumping!

I had meant to thank him for stopping by yesterday, but could not think of anything to type. Instead I liked his post.

I decided to rectify that tonight. I apologize if the timing made it seem otherwise. I assure you our recruitment thread is very seldom "bumped" and will likely fall down the page again soon enough.

Goblin Squad Member

I'm just messing with you. :P

Edit* Ignore this
Posted in wrong thread

I'll see your bump and raise you two bumps for the bump he didn't mean to bump and the bump you thought he was bumping when you inadvertently bumped him.

Goblin Squad Member

Its bumpception....

Goblin Squad Member

Aha, but my bump was not, in fact, inadvertent!

Goblin Squad Member

More bump?

Goblin Squad Member

Sheesh people, low clearance here, watch your heads!

Goblin Squad Member

Who's in charge of crafting, Glaucopide isn't it? Hey, can we get this thing fixed!? =)

Ow!! Now you tell me...

all this bumping going on over here, how is anyone supposed to ask about stuff if they are thinking of joining our great cul, er, guild :P

Goblin Squad Member

Also, just a reminder, but Pax Aeternum is still recruiting!! Check the OP for details!!

Someone on the first page said something about "Too many dwarves".

There's No Such Thing As "Too Many Dwarves!"

While a dwarf myself Jrodi I have to disagree...there definitely can be such a thing as too many dwarves....if you are on the opposite side of the battlefield :)

At least you can walk in here without having to duck to avoid bumping your [t]h[r]ead. 'Course... with dwarven bone structure, you could probably charge right into the wall and come away concussion-free.

As long as the alcohol-to-dwarf ratio is at least 3:1, that shouldn't be a problem. It's hard to hold three steins plus a weapon without spilling it everywhere.

Goblin Squad Member

Ignore this dwarf wandering through this thread. Just misplaced my hammers somewhere around here, to pound some of these bumps back down.

Misplaced your hammers! What kind of dwarf are you! I mean mine are right here.... ummm... wait...

Goblin Squad Member

Too many dwarves hereabout... too many dwarves...

*shakes her head and sets out to fix the bump issue*

Goblin Squad Member

Gah!!!!! Garblebumps!

OOC: Gah!!!!! Garblebumps!

Looks like too many Elves to me

Can never have too many Dwarves

Shadow Lodge Goblin Squad Member

Wait, you're not a dwarf... you're just hairy and stooping over!

Goblin Squad Member

DDAAAAMMMMNNNNN its a skeleton wearing a scarecrow mask

Shadow Lodge Goblin Squad Member

These are my holey vestments, hairy-tick!

Goblin Squad Member

I'm starting to think humans will be a definite minority!

Liberty's Edge Goblin Squad Member

I'd actuallky intended to make Deianira an elf, but she was very stubborn about being human.

Oh, well, maybe I can do something different with my Destiny's Twin!

Goblin Squad Member

My main will most definitely be a human. But, my Destiny's Twin... dwarf ^_^
