Experienced in WhiteWolf and Anima but New to DnD, looking for campain

Hey, I am looking to join a campaign but I'm not sure where to start. I have looked at alot of the recruitment messages but they often contain rulings that I don't know since they are for DnD. I want to join a more noob friendly campaign that will help me when it comes to DnD rules and play by post stuff and such, but I don't want something thats so inexperienced that it deals with less focus on the rollplaying. If anybody has advice I would appreciate it.

What is your experience with Pathfinder (DnD)? Do you know the basics of the rules or nothing at all? If its nothing at all, you likely wont find a game to play here, since for the most part, Pathfinde (DnD) is the name of the game.

If you know the basics of the rules, alot of DMs would gladly have you and help you along. At the end of the day, DMs choose players based on their Characters background more than the stats that make it work within the confines of the rules.

As for noob friendly, if you don't know something you can ask the GM or fellow players for a hand.
Before applying you need to know the basic core rules

The most noob friendly version of Pathfinder (PF) is the Beginners Box (BB) and there are a few of those that are played PBP.

There is the Pathfinder Reference Document for the rules, and there is the Advice sub-forum and the Rules sub-forum where you can ask and get answers for things you don't understand or have missed.

I have played a Pathfinder campaign before, as well as a 4.0 campaign. I wasn't a big fan of 4.0 and the Pathfinder game was like 2 years ago. I could probably do some research and learn more of the basics. I have a general idea of how it's played, but I'm so used to other systems that I don't fully understand how it works. Also thanks Azure_Zero, I will give those a read.
