I am playing in a Shattered Star campaign currently and we're about to wrap up the second adventure, and I am trying visualize the Runelord of Lust.
I guess she's rather on the young side for the part of Sorshen but looking at her wield the twin kayak paddles Nina Agdal could be somewhat of a contender for that image.
Hey parts of Denmark are like Varisia right?

There are multiple images of Sorshen flying around. Here is a recent headshot.
There's even a picture of her above James Jacobs's foreword for Lady's Light (granted it's unlabeled, so if you don't already know what she looks like from Inner Sea Magic or that headshot, you wouldn't recognize her).

I've seen those pictures and hope she's one of the minis I get when my order comes in but none of this pics do justice for the Runelord of Lust in my mind's eye.
Olliepoppet that is a great picture of her though.
Looking forward to that illustration James.

Also, what are those shards embedded in her arm/shoulder?
The shoulder shards are PROBABLY implanted ioun stones.
And she's supposed to wield a double-bladed glaive as her weapon, but the artist misinterpreted that as a double-weapon glaive. The weapon SHOULD Have two blades at one end.

So is it safe to say the mini for Sorshen being released for Shattered Star is also inaccurate? Because the mini has the double-weapon.

What's the association of glaives with love/lust? Shelyn, Sorshen, formerly Zon-Kuthon... Baphomet, consort of Lamashtu...?
EDIT: besides that it's a long pole. Is there some other reason?

That depends a lot on whether you like Brunettes or not. As it happens, how Sorshen has been depicted/described unfortunately flips all my switches, as anyone who knows/knew my ex-wife can attest, so I'm personally glad she is a fictitious character...
That said, yeah Ollipoppet, that is a sweet illustration. I wouldn't worry about the pendant, I highly doubt that Sorshen confines herself to only one item of jewelry.

The character Sorshen most resembles is Druuna, due both to the hairstyle (Sorshen's most distinctive feature) and their bodies-made-for-sex. Druuna is rounder and less predatory, though, compared to most of what I've seen of Sorshen.
Fixed that for you, but I do agree, now that you mention her, that the two do share a strong resemblance. Although Sorshen was less a 'body built for sex', literally, then Druuna; she did have a life before becoming the Runelord of Lust. Thinking about it, Druuna would actually have been a fairly decent Runelord of Love, as Xin originally intended, if she had ever been educated.

Unfortunately, yes.
For the moment, I just have to just accept the fact that a goofy double weapon snuck into the gear for my favorite runelord... grrr.

No association.
Especially when you consider that the glaive Shelyn uses isn't hers, but her brother's.
