This is just an idea i had, i was lookingaround the Homebrew board and thinking there are so many great ideas here, that manys people will never see, so how about we make collections of the greatest homebrew ideas that come up around here?
we could separate them into different categories such as skill related, combat rules, class archetypes, character options (such as trais, feats and spells), monsters, balance fixes and things like that.
The way we should go about it i guess is (especially for balance fixes) to voteon which to include, and then make pdfs for everyone to download. (I'm currently learning print media design so I would even do that and maybe provide a pencil illustrtion here and there too, too make it look even better)

hum, good idea.

Campaign Settings
Dark Woods, based on Mikaze's World building exercise. Will receive slow but steady support.
A (presently unnamed) campaign setting without any of the default core races (humans, elves, dwarves, etc). Will receive slow but steady support.
Alternative Base Classes, Feats, Skills and Combat Mechanics
Most of my Hourserules are in this tread. This eventually led to a d20-inspired RPG in its own right. It will no longer be supported, but I'll be glad to answer questions/provide precisions.
New Classes
Knight-Errant, a class for fallen paladins as an alternative to antipaladin or fighter-with-no-bonus-feats.
Other Homebrew
The Overland Round, a simple homebrewed mechanics treating a day-full of activity based on the "round" mechanics, with Overland Movements, Overland Standard Action etc.
enjoy,

These all sound really good.
I myself would throw in my Boltslinger archetype, an updated version of my cling mechanic, Living construct creature type and hunter-agent race, and and updated version of my weapon proficiency as a skill variant rule.
Other things i saw recently i think would be great include Arcanemuses's Ultimatum rule or Evil Lincoln's Strain-Injury variant.
What we would need is a few people who can dedicate a bit of their time to going over suggestions and polishing the writing a little bit where necessary. And of course loads more suggestions.

I've been thinking the same thing. So many great ideas get tossed around on here and it would be great to have something like this put together.
+1 for Laurefindel's overland rules. I actually use it quite often in my home game when the players want to spend significant time doing non-adventuring stuff.

It's me again, and I would like to give this another go. I'm currently working out a design and layout for pdfs.
I would want create a collection of pleasant-to-look-at pdfs, each covering a different topic of homebrews such as:
-Monsters
-Classes and Archetypes
-NPCs (including regular preconstructed NPCs as well as monsters with -class levels)
-Races and racial options
-Character Options (non-class/race specific, such as traits, feats, spells
-Variant rules
Each pdf would be separated into Changes/fixes (such as using monks with d10 HD and full BAB for example) and New content (like entirely homebrewed classes).
What I would definitely need is a few people who on their free time would help me sort out submitted material and put it into a proper rules text form, if it isn't already. Of course there would be no pressure, since i also have only limited time to spend on this.
Once i have finished the initial layouts, (and maybe gathered a few helpers) i would start a thread here on the boards where we could collect potential material and other users can submit theirs. Every submission would be credited to the user who wrote it.

My Kingdom Building tracker. It is a mostly complete tracker. Only the number built ("B" column) needs to be changed. I hid most of the numberical bonus columns to prevent clutter. At the bottom of the sheet totals are giving for the kingdom/settlement. And certain boxes will change colors based on conditions listed at the bottom of the sheet.
Feel free to make copies and any feedback would be appreciated.

I'd be fine with adding my Cunning & Panache Rogue and Commander classes to this compilation, as well as a handful of other things I've written here and there. I'd offer my conversion of the Artificer as well, but it's probably too close to WotC's closed content to put it anywhere outside of a messageboard's Conversions section.

Yeah, i would not use anything from people who don't explicitly agree to it being used.
It should be a little more than just a collection of everything we can find, it should focus on the really "good" things. Those things that are great additions to gameplay, or that are really well balanced, things that are potentially interesting to a lot of people or have a lot of effort put into them.

I'm still working on that layout.
There have been some question I haven't responded to yet:
Can I do the classes part? I love classes.
Sure.
How big could the PDFs be?
I'm not sure about that yet, I would want to see what we can gather for a first volume. I imagine it to have about the size of an adventure path book.
Then it would be another question if later content would be updated into existing PDFs or added in follow-up volumes.Depending on volume and scale, I could help with the editing work.
I don't expect much, really, as i said, I will not spend excessive amounts of time on this, since i do have a job, a PFRPG group I GM and I value my free time. I don't expect others to do more either.
The task will be mainly to just edit content, mostly for spelling or grammar errors and issues with clarity.I will make one layout for everything, sort of a page template, to which every homebrew article will be formatted and then we'll see if i can get some illustrations in there as well here and there (either from my own pool or other artists who would like to contribute).
Hopefully i can show the initial cover layout soon.
I was wondering, that once we get this rolling and it turns out the way I imagine it in my head, if it would be worth approaching paizo about being able to publish these via the paizo store (as free downloads). There it would definitely be seen. Also I should look into wether getting an official Pathfinder compatible license would make sense.

Depending on what the content is you can either abide by the Community Use Policy or the Compatibility License. Look carefully at each of those and then approach Liz Courts to find out which one you are closer to.
Our experience at Multiclass Productions led us to use the Community Use Policy - however Paizo will not host such products themselves, even for free. I don't really understand why - Wayfinder is free, published by Paizo Fans United, and IS hosted here, but I can't work out whether it conforms to/uses the CUP or the CL; a free adventure Wayfinder's assistant editor Paris Crenshaw wrote that uses the Community Use Policy IS not hosted here.
Regardless, there are plenty of places you can host stuff like the d20PFSRD store...
Hope I've helped by presenting our experience, at least more than muddied the water

Thanks, Oceanshieldwolf. I think it helps getting some perspective.
In other news: Here is the cover layout
| SteelDraco |
I think Wayfinder is in a strange place in terms of its license - it seems more like they've decided to accept it as a Golarion/Pathfinder free fanzine and not prosecute what would otherwise be a clear breach of product identity. I don't think it falls under either license. It uses a lot of Golarion-specific Product Identity, since it specifically includes Golarion content. Keep in mind that the founder of Wayfinder now works for Paizo, so there's obviously friendship there.

This is the layout for an inside double page.
I just used some of my own homebrews to fill the pages.
| Threeshades |
Yes they are character illustrations I made for pathfinder PCs.
(by the way i realize there are some mistakes in the text, such as the boltslinger's last ability being cut off or Extra Evolution being claimed to grant 2 evolution points, they will be rectified once i'm going to start on the actual documents.)

Would The Cleaves need a separate PDF?
I would also like to include my Ritual rules.

I'm working on a little preview pdf that introduces the project while at the same time giving an impression what it will look like it will include the pages i posted previously but possibly sport a different cover illustration. When it's done i'll post it in a new thread and then we'll get this show on the road.
