Magical Girl Ore! - I laughed a lot and enjoyed it, but this is not going to be for everyone
GeGeGe no Kitaro - Not bad. Ghost Stories for younger audience but still good enough to be enjoyed by older viewers.
Space Battleship Tiramisu - Not at all what I was expecting in a kind of silly fun way
Fist of the Blue Sky - G$! D$+n it. It's Berserk 2016 all over again
Gundam Build Divers - 3rd in the Build series. Many more years down the line and we are now Full VR - Sword Arts: Gundam online. Still an advertisment for the Model kits but I don't care cause it is awesome unabashed Mecha Fanservice all the way. Plus what might very well be the Daughter of my favorite Gundam Couple
Hinamatsuri did not disapoint. Fun psychic girl slice of life with YakuzaDad. Good humor, bit of mystery
Last Period: journey to the end of Despair
basically....imagine a Fantasy world that runs on Mobile Game Logic.
This was fun, silly little show some absurdities like buying random new party members using real world money (much to the confusion of the main characters who only know of the “in-world” currency)

It was good we had waited a week to catch up on Food Wars. That cliffhanger on last weeks episode may have killed my friend otherwise.
Snagged tickets to the Heaven's Feel dub showing next month. Assigned my other friend homework with the Fate/Stay series so he knows what the hell is going on. (He has only played the Fate Extra PSP game.)
Overlord Season 3 has begun with a nice little catch up episode to reintroduce our cast.
Laughed my ass off at the scene with Albedo's horse

I bought the first 10 episodes of Black Clover on DVD. I'm watching them with a friend. So far, the magic spell books are 1:Artifacts, as they are sometimes gifted from Gods or Devils 2: capable of holding, hidden, spells too high level for the current user, and 3: Capable of containing magic items.

Interesting bunch of stuff to open the new season with.
Reincarnated as a Slime - As reborn in another world shows go, this is kind of a neat one. Gotta hand it to anyone who's last words are "Destroy my hard drive. Don't look at it just destroy it"
Zombie Saga- did not know what I was expecting....it certainly was a Death Metal Zombie Idol series. I'm not kidding, take and Idol series, make all the girls Zombies...actual Zombies...and they sing Death Metal
S.S.S.S (Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad) Gridman - Animation by Trigger with some CGI. Giant Monster threaten town and are stopped by a hero from cyber space - Gridman (yes it's that Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad)
Goblin Slayer - There are going to be a lot of people who will like this series. I'm not one of them. While the idea of a lone batmanesc warrior slaughtering goblins sounds pretty cool....I found the first episode distasteful so I am going to nope right the hell away from this one. No judgement if you do like it, it's just not for me
Release the spice - Cute Girls doing Covert things against an evil organization
Uzamaid (Our maid is annoying) - G** d##n it....This show would be great. Weak little russian girl trying to get rid of her family's new built like a brick ex-army Maid. Huge Comedy potential....if the Maid wasn't a self-confessed Pedo. It's still funny, it just comes with a huge amount of Creepy with it.

Some of those I need to check up on.
I'm loving goblin slayer after going through the manga. The first episode is as squicky as the series gets but the main character is a genocidal psychopath against irredeemable goblins so the first episode is a good litmus test for whether or not the audience is okay with the rest of it so its perfectly okay to nope out. I'm just happy with my cute little murderhobo Pathfinder goblins by contrast.
I love Overlord right now but the light novels have been a way better experience than the show.

Something that has been talked about by some watchers of Goblin Slayer, but will probably not be brought up is that the Adventurer's Guild is as just a big a problem as the goblins(or even more)
Think of it as a 'Puppy Mill' of adventurers. Warrior types get a 'Johnny V's 12 step program to super harmony' self-defense classes that leave them worse off than if they had joined the army because at least they would have gotten some discipline. Wizard types get used spellbooks and mass produced wands and given accelerated courses. Priests get a bible-study class and how to use a first aid kit. They all get dubbed 'Porcelain Adventurers' and sent out whenever villages send a request.
Cue horror show and no doubt the guild has their fingers in funeral services and salvage where they buy back lost equipment for a pittance when more experienced adventurers bring a cart back full of trash.
Plus apathetic staff that might be moved to say 'Uh..this is pretty rough, how about going after some rabid rats?' But don't give a toss when ignored.

Something that should be done with the series instead of the goblins themselves. Sending out utter amateurs out into the battlefield is not a good thing. I know it is just a fan theory.

The setting of Goblin Slayer is something that I read as tragic but realistic if adventurers are given free reign on quests in a frontier context. The guild isn't so much as an organization that manages adventurers but a brick and mortar Craigslist. They facilitate the gigs they recieve and collect reports on what happened but not much else. They probably get a cut of the reward and function as a business reference with the tiered dogtags. In that context a group of new adventurers, which are probably a dime a dozen, come in to accept jobs and the receptionists can discourage this but has no real authority to deny it to them. Especially since they're the only ones handling goblin requests which are put up by poor farmers rather than being subsidized by people investing in those farms. That's where it's important to note that this is a frontier situation where no one with actual resources are invested in anything being threatened due to dealing with problems from actual taxpayers and when some kind of goblin uprising actually threatens something they're invested in you'd see organized troops quashing it. In the meantime you have freelancers making money off settlements that are nothing more than private colonies that decided to make a living in less crown protected areas to cash in on the taxless gains.
Another thing I noticed is that these events seem to be new. These settlements are probably date back to when they were very appealing because they could make money while the areas controlled by or lord or kingdom are busy fighting each other (The elf kingdom was reluctant to move on the goblins organized by another creature because mobilizing actual troops to deal with the problem would result in instigating things with their neighbors) but the recent development is the war between gods leading to more monsters appearing. In fully developed areas goblins are a non-problem. send in troops to exterminate them and be done with it but this presents problems for the frontier. Between fighting each other and the monsters that are a more immediate threat it gets expensive to lend support to poor frontier farmers when they have a problem that can be dealt with by groups of teenagers with attitude so they simply don't do it. The Adventurers Guild probably existed as a band aid that goes on well enough for what it is but the goblin situation seems to be increasing the same way an infection would. The more profitable farms that are easy to get to get protected because their taxes are indispensable and the weaker and more far out farms get left in the hands of plucky 15 year olds, which works for a while but each time they fail you get smarter goblins like resistant bacteria that appears when you don't complete your antibiotics.
However combined together these problems become bigger but still hidden by the bandaid and it won't be until it becomes a larger threat that affects people with money that anything will be done about it with any organization and precision. The Guild can't do that because they don't have the authority to have that level of coordination. At best they can put a note on a board, and divvy out the cash to whoever completes it. The only way they could do better is what they did when there was a large scale attack, which was subsidize the reward to make it worthwhile, something they probably approved because they personally felt threatened by the outcome, or they could assert authority by assigning tasks with their tag level being on the line if they don't follow through allowing them to steer new adventurers to less dangerous work as a form of training. However I'm certain they haven't done these things because whoever is running the guild didn't have a reason to and this way is profitable for some reason. They probably have a monopoly on that kind of service because of how isolated the villages are and extra administrative and subsidizing costs is undesirable to them. This will go on until the threat of goblins gets large enough to pony up the cash to deal with it, competition arrives, or management steers in a direction for long term thinking rather than short term.

Like of all the things to make a revival its Superhuman Samurai Cyber Squad, and in anime form no less. It went under my radar mostly because my brain didn't even register it as a possibility.

I think is GS, the Goblin Slayer himself is actually more of an NPC while the real Chosen One actually blasts hordes of goblins and a demon on her first mission.

Like of all the things to make a revival its Superhuman Samurai Cyber Squad, and in anime form no less. It went under my radar mostly because my brain didn't even register it as a possibility.
In a perfect world we could get Matt Laurance and Tim Curry for the dub. It'll never happen but damn it would be great if it did.
Gotta say though, that purple haired girl is a damn scary one. I mean that is one hell of an escalation.
You mildly annoyed me, so I'm gonna send a giant monster to rampage through the city just to kill you, and then when reality resets you will be retroactively killed in the past so that you never annoyed me in the first place.
WTH, Girl?! Murder by Time travel, with bonus giant monster attack for Lols.
My theory on the frozen Kaiju that only the Main characters can see is that they are her previous attacks before Gridman showed up to fight against it all.

OMG I love Thunderbolt Fantasy.
So Shang's original plan was to cross the demonic wastelands that no one could cross and thus escape his enemies.
But in crossing the uncrossable Wastelands, Shang crippled or killed so many monsters that they are now pretty damn easy to cross, allowing his enemies to follow him.
The only thunderbolt I love is Gundam Thunderbolt

You know, I'm kind of amazed Japan was willing to even consider this - although maybe they think it'll go over better since superhero movies are big now. Do we know anything about the current staff?
