So I have a question...I was out at a department store and saw a lovely summer dress that I want. My question is how do I determine my dress size?
You can find tables and stuff online for converting your measurements into dress sizes. I know they can sometimes be site specific (because they're usually on sites that sell clothes), but the general ballpark should be close I would think. Also sometimes there are number sizes and sometimes just small/medium/large.
But also! Dress sizes can be wildly inconsistent depending on the brand. The best way is to determine if it's generally in your ballpark and try it on.
Very definitely good advice-- especially the bit about wild inconsistency. The numbers are only relative to other numbers by the same manufacturer, so you might be a 14 at one place, a 12 at another, and rather comfortable in an 8 at a third.

This - it's a problem with womens' clothing in general. I have clothing I frequently wear in every size from medium to 2XL. Online charts can help, and if you can find a mirror outside the dressing room then holding clothes up to yourself can help you ballpark, but you'll never really know without trying it on.

My friend Seth gave an interview about his experience starting a family as a trans man.
He talks about his difficulties finding any information about trans men and fertility. Of course children aren't a priority for everyone, but if anyone here or in your broader communities would like to talk to Seth about his and his wife's experience, he's happy to provide resources; the article has details for contacting him!

Gooood morning! I've got Society play in a couple of hours. Looking forward to shoosting things until I hit level 2... when I can shoost AND poke things.
I'm taking Weapon Finesse so I can use my rapier if I misfire anyway, and I'll swap it out when I "rebuild" at level 2.
My wife is snoring in the other room and I just love being gay??? Girls are so freaking pretty, you guys.

Oh, that's the eventual plan, but CL4 wands are expensive for a 1st-level character!
Session went well by the way, first action I took was blowing the head off a gnoll with a fully-loaded crit. :D But also I contracted zombie plague of some kind that technically should have killed me.
That was a good shot. Sorry I'm not a better conversationalist, right now. Dealing with a 9 or 10 out of 10 stabbing headache behind my right eye, right now. And neither Aleeve or a cold pack are helping. ;_;

Ouch, sorry to hear that D: I haven't been around here long so sorry if this is ground you've tread a hundred times already, but: any idea what's causing that headache?

A tumor on my Pituitary. It's causing me near-constant double vision by putting pressure on a nerve cluster behind my right eye. My right eye, at rest, points outward about 30 degrees and a few degrees down. Likely, also the cause of my headaches, probably in relation to low air pressure. Like that which cause thunderstorms. Nothing I can do about it until the surgery. Don't want to take anything stronger. I don't want to become an addict. ;_;

So. Pissed.
While on a fool's errand for a friend, my 3ds games slipped out of my pocket. How I don't know. F#+#. Now I'm down three of my favorite games. Ugh.
What were the titles? Here in Pittsburgh, there's a chain of shops called "The Exchange." Some of them may have the titles you lost.

I'm in a kind of hibernation mode right now. I see everything that's going on with everyone and I hope things improve quickly for everyone. I am just lurking for now. My depression is pretty strong right now so I'm not overly chatty. I don't want anyone to think that I'm not caring about what's going on with them. I really do care.

Oh, and I finally got around to reading the Mechanic preview blog, is the Lashunta Mechanic a Korasha?
