1 person marked this as a favorite.

TO FIX WIZARD GIVE BLOODLINE INSTEAD OF SKOOL, MAKE CHARISMA BASED AND THEMED FEATS AND SPONTANIOUS SPELLCASTING.

THAT FIX LAME ASS WIZARD.

So i was reading through the rules and i can't seem to understand how a Wizard is supposed to keep up with the other classes

At first I was all like "Flat What", but then I LOL'd.

I think wizards need 12 level progression. we need 3 more levels.

Fighters, rangers, and other physical types wouldn't get far without spellcasters. Proof.

Just wanna say that I have nothing to do with the original poster, as I believe this thread could only hurt my own position in some people's minds.

You should have linked the black cauldron.

May as well just give the Wizard Full BAB, fighter feat progression and Rogue skill points. Oh and ability to cast Cleric spells.

We tried that, but spell preparation and d6 HP made the class way underpowered.

Due to my poor memory, I fail to see how that movie would be more relevant.

Are you referring to a particular scene?

They should also have d12 hit dice and the ability to spontaneously cast any spell on any list. How can they compete with other classes otherwise?

Mergy, how dare you restrict wizards to a list! They should have access to all spells (which would be their spells known as well) and cast those spontaneously as needed. That is the only way they will catch up with the omnipotent fighter!

Sheesh guys, all this needless barking back and forth is keeping the kids up!

Why don't we just agree that the only way to make the wizard usable is to write, up in the name line, Chuck Norris. Problem solved, instant hits, kills on every hit, unlimited hp. Boom, a playable wizard.

I removed some posts and accusations of trolling. Don't be a jerk.

I'm also locking this thread because I don't see it going anywhere useful from here.
