I am most definitely interested. I have a character idea for a vigilante Gunslinger and for a scholarly/know-it-all Wizard. If you're interested in either let me know, never played PbP or maptools before.
Gunslingers and wizards are both cool. Be sure to look over the character creation rules in the free download guide to Society play here. In a nutshell, its 20 buy and you should take an allegiance to a faction. That said if your not interested in Society play but want to get a taste of online gaming then I dont really mind so long as its build still falls under the 20 build parameters of organized play.
Also if your interested you can skype me at Haddy-Lass

Sounds pretty cool - I'm looking to give online play a try, and what little I've read about Society play sounded a lot of fun! Saturday EST afternoons are usually pretty free for me too.
How were you planning on running it? I've read through some PbP campaigns and have a general idea of how those work, but I've only heard of MapTools and never played using Skype.
I have a fighter with the Shielded Fighter archetype I'm kind of itching to try out... I enjoy playing pretty much anything though.

About what time on Saturdays? I tend to work every other weekend until about 6ish cst, so curious.
Im aiming for a noon to 1 PM start. As this is considered a homegame Im not sticking to a strict 5 hour limit though I doubt it'll exceed that. I prefer a more informal game with RP and character interaction.

Playing over a VVT like maptools combined with Skype allows the game to play almost exactly like it would over a tabletop. Its real time with your voice telling me what you wish to do both In Character and Out of Character. If your curious to see how it runs, you can sit in and observe my Tuesday night game.
Maptools is a free VVT that you can download at rptool.net
As for the Fighter, make sure it conforms to Society rules play (see the link in my opening post).
As response grows I will accept according to party make-up.

I play PFS currently via TTopRPG, and there are usually people there willing to jump into play.
chat.dmtools.org is where a bunch of us hang out.
I've got a 1st level Sorcerer that I wouldn't mind taking for a spin. I've also got a 2nd level Paladin and a 3rd level Cleric
I am playing a game this Saturday, the 11th, but I could be available next Saturday if that's not too close to the holidays.

Here's the fighter I was thinking of (minus background and appearance). Reworked him according to the PFS rules (150 gp isn't much to spend for a fighter!). Might put together another character or two for more options, if that's ok.
I'd be curious to sit on on your Tuesday game... see how everything works together. :)

osuracnaes:
Interesting build - for a tier 1 adventure you're going to be almost unhittable by the time you upgrade to a breastplate.
I am worried about your Will save. :) I'd recommend swapping out the +2 1/day to hit evil targets (which I can't find anywhere) for one that gives a +1 to Will saves.
How are you getting a Perception of +2?

It's from the PFS guide... one of the traits for the Silver Crusade faction. I suppose I could grab Indomitable Faith for +1 Will. I could also hold off on Combat Expertise and get Iron Will... like you said, should be pretty tough to hit already.
How are you getting a Perception of +2?
Oops... That's from putting a rank into the skill in the first draft of the character and forgetting that Perception is Wis, not Int (that's what years of using Search will do to you!). Hehe... thanks for the look-over. :P

Make sure your building your 1st lvl character according to PFS rules. Right off the bat you seem to be about 6 points over for abilities and Im not sure why you have so many feats at lvl 1.

Lass |

Abilities before the racial +2 (to Str) are:
Str 15 (7); Dex 13 (3); Con 15 (7); Int 13 (3); Wis 9 (-1); Cha 11 (1)
Total: 20Human fighters get two extra feats at first level - one for being human, one for the fighter bonus feat.
Awesome, looks like you got a really good defensive fighter!!!
Still looking for a couple others and we'll be set!

Would you require a wizard to give up Scribe Scroll for Spell Focus at first level? And if so, could we then use one of our regular feats to take Scribe Scroll? Cause the Scroll Master archetype (the only wizard archetype I'm really interested in) kinda depends on it.
If not, I have my ever-popular gunslinger, as mentioned in the second post of the thread.

Are you asking me to houserule that? Thing is that for a PFS game I really cant to make it a legal play character. I just read that archetype and it sure is wonderfully flavourful. I dont want to discourage your playing it but not being all that familiar with it all I can say is to stick to the RAW version.
The Gunslinger is always a good option as well.

Lass |

2 Gunslingers... they sure have become popular! Welcome aboard Gent. Ive not had a chance to really look over the characters but will before Sat.
Yes the time is set for 12 noon EST.
To remind for those new to maptools. I'll be using version b86 and will be available throughout the week to help with that. Just hit me up on Skype and if I can I'll give you a walk through. All pretty easy. You can also lurk on my Kingmaker game Tuesday evening if you wish.
That should close out registration. If others want to be on stand-by in case of no-shows then let me know.

If Lass can teach me enough about MapTools from the GMing side, I may try running First Steps so she can play a bit too.
I like a lot of the features of TTopRPG, but I find that trying to prep anything for it makes me throw up my hands in frustration. I've little to no experience with MapTools, but perhaps it'll be a bit less frustrating.

*becomes AdAstraGames new BFF!*
Im more than happy to show the ins and outs of Maptools. As a VVT it can be as complicated or as easy as you want it to me. I basically whip up some quick macros for my games and it usually takes me under an hour. When I designed the macros and maps for the up coming game PFS game on the 17th it tooks me well under an hour.
For Mr Blahface, Provos and ChaosCoyote design your characters and we'll get you into games. Hopefully we can get a pool of players and GMs to run PFS games from time to time.

Hi people, I'd like to raise my hand as interested if I'm not too late. I don't know maptools but I'm fine with Skype. As an Aussie I'll be on at weird times and no doubt I'll be distracted by Old Republic for the next few days but I'll add you on Skype :)
No idea what I'll play, need to recrack open my books.

Id love to play, it would be my first time with an online campaign and pathfinder society, that being ssaid I would love to learn if there are any spots still open. noon-1 start time is not ideal, if we could start at say 2-3 that would be better ( wife leave for work, and one of the only days I get to see her.)

Sorry about the time Jacetms87 perhaps the next time I run a PFS game it'll be at different times/days.
Character looks good Provos, best I can tell ya is to be available at noon EST on Saturday in case someone doesnt show. If you've not done so already add me to skype.

Lass, I've got a schedule conflict that starts at 2 PM Central, 3 PM Eastern.
If your game could start earlier, I could do both - I need to be ready to get out of the house at 1:30 PM. If it can't, I'll understand and catch the session next time.
Saddies... hope to catch you next time.
