Hey everyone,
I'm playing a level 8 Ranger with the following feats:
Precise Shot, Point Blank Shot, Rapid Shot, Deadly Aim, Many Shot, [___one open___].
At the moment my current attack setup is to be under the effects of gravity bow (pot or my own spell) and declare a full attack.
It usually works out like this:
Many Shot (4D6+8 +2D6[shocking] +12 Deadly), Rapid Shot (2D6+4 +1D6 +6), Second Attack (2D6+4 +1D6 +6)
----------------------------------------------
1) My question is, can I use Vital Strike to make my first attack do double damage (ie. 4D6+4D6 +2D6 +12)? or is it absolutely only applicable to when I'm making a single attack (ie 2D6+2D6+1D6+6)?
2) As well, if I buy a Large +1 Shocking +2Mighty Comp Longbow and have the feat that allows me to use weapons that are a size bigger than me can I potentially be doing (with Gravity bow on): 3D6 per arrow? or would that not work?

In order to use Vital Strike you must use a Standard Action Attack. This mean you cannot full attack, many shot or rapid shot in conjunction with Vital Strike. It is absolutely only available during a single attack action.
If you could use a Large Bow (what's the feat you can use for this?) then you could use Vital Strike during your single attack. Doubling whatever the bow's damage dice are.

1st) you can't use vital strike when full attacking, well the truth is that you can't use with nearly anything archery related, not even along with pin point targeting or focused shot irrc.
2nd) Gravity bow can't be made a potion because it's a personal spell.
3rd) There is no PF feat or ability that allows you a medium creature to weild a large (or larger) two handed weapon.

Titan Mauler Archtype for Barbarian in Ultimate Combat allows you to wield larger than medium whilst still being a medium character.
Now the issue I have is in PFS you cant buy large weapons unless they are on Chronicles :(

You could use an enlarge person potion and then be able to use the large bow (and add gravity bow on top of that).
Unfortunately the PRD says :
Any enlarged item that leaves an enlarged creature's possession (including a projectile or thrown weapon) instantly returns to its normal size. This means that thrown and projectile weapons deal their normal damage. But it works with large weapons, lead blades and gravity bow.

Titan Mauler Archtype for Barbarian in Ultimate Combat allows you to wield larger than medium whilst still being a medium character.
This is a common mistake. A titan mauler cannot wield a larger sized two-handed weapon.
He can wield a properly sized two-handed weapon in one hand, OR
He can wield an oversized weapon with decreased penalties, but the rules on which items can be wielded still apply.
See this FAQ reference.

Wrong on both counts,
Titan mauler as written (including the FAQ) does not allow you to use large two handed weapons, you may use large 1 handed weapons as 2 handed weapons but you cannot use a large 2 handed weapon. The intent of the author was to allow larger weapons but by PFS rules you are limited to a very small subset of usable items (Large bastard swords 2d8 damage, Large Falcata 2d6 19-20/x3 crit are the best 2)
Regarding point 2 it is legal to buy Large items see the Always available items section "All basic armor, gear, items, and weapons from
Chapter 6 of the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook, including Small and Large-sized items."
Large sized items from other books are only purchasable with enough fame (so no Large Falcatas at level 1, but you can get a large bastard sword as its in the core rule book)
