Unfortunately, we only have enough for Moon Unit Alpha. Moon Unit Zappa had to be scrapped.

No, we've gone over this. Orbital lasers diffuse too much energy passing through the Van Allen belts and magnetosphere. We opted instead for rail gun batteries that launch sharks with fricking yam lasers on their foreheads. Each shark carries 2 dozen lamprey MIRVs, each also with its own head-mounted yam laser.
Also, we have been appeasing the sun god by firing sacrificial poodle lords to him.

I think Redmond got about 4-5 inches today. It doesn't sound like a lot, but Seattle doesnt have the infrastructure for dealing with snow (not worth it I guess for how little we usually get). Plus there are hills everywhere. Typically you have people native to the area who are clueless about driving in snow, combined with people from the east/Midwest who think they know what they are doing but didn't realize that the roads aren't salted (just sanded... sometimes) and that we have wicked hills which together make for very dangerous conditions. If you know what you're doing and have a decent car/truck/chains for it, the roads aren't that bad, it's mainly all the other drivers that scare me. Which is why Gary and I walked to work :)

Y'all need to build a Snowbine Harvester (Bovril is optional, flame thrower is not).

You should get some skis. They exercise every muscle in the body, including the ones in your cheeks (as you pull a face and go, "why the heck did I think this would be a good idea when I haven't been on a pair of skis since I was in school? I didn't even realise you could over-exert your eye-muscles.)

Yeah, the hill factor sucks, even if you're used to driving in the snow (and no traction control = more suck). No car + nearest bus stop about 3/4 of a mile away...extra suck!

I think one of my favorite hobbies is talking to Texans stuck up here in New England during a Nor'Easter. You find out which ones are religious real quick. They're the ones with their arms out waiting to ascend (because they think it's armageddon... get it?)
The New Englander, on the other hand, might sip his coffee while slowing his car to a meager 55. Except for the New Yorker, who is behind him and honking his horn and screaming obscenities....

Well the first baker, who shall not be named, didn't seem to know the recipe. I think he might have drank it. Like a Jack :)
I heard that baker also bragged about getting into the cupcake bake off for free, right in front of the judges...
