Ok, I believe the creation specs were:
20pt stat buy
Core, APG, and CotCT player guide only (Ultimate Magic wasnt out though, so not sure what a new GM would rule)
2 traits
Roll for gold, or take the average for the class
Personally, I wouldnt have an issue with a new player starting at level 2, despite us having just reached it, so I wouldnt see why you couldnt create your concept at level 2, though a potential Gm may say otherwise.
Apply with whatever character you want. Our Ranger just decided to drop as well, so that takes it down to:
Halfling TWF Rogue
Human Sorcerer
Human Cleric

Aardvark Barbarian |

I am trying to decide whether I would be willing to run this game. Check my profiles, I run another game, will be starting to run another in a little bit, and play in 4 currently ongoing games (it would be more but MAN these things die too quickly).
I would be interested to know where in the AP you are, and what the deal is with the harrow points and card thing you have in your profiles.
Please spoiler where you are in the AP.
I spend (both at work and home) between 12-16 hours a day on the forums, waiting for updates to happen. I think running games is the only way to get my fix.

Copper Fratello |

The first GM we had gave each of our characters a Harrow reading at the beginning of the game. The card is the one that supposedly represented us, and the harrow points have to do with that, somehow. I dont know if there are rules for it in the AP or if it was just something he was making up as he went along.

Demitri Severin |

I propose Felgar Stoutaxe, Level 2, Male Dwarf Fighter (Two-Handed Fighter or Weapon Master archetype). Felgar will weild a Dwarven Waraxe.
I thought that perhaps a frontline meat shield may help the party. I will submit a full background with a second level build this evening.
Well, hopefully both our fighters will get in. We can tank them to death!

Yeah, I looked through the AP last night, and found out about the Harrow and where you guys are. I'm going to read the thread, but just wanted an idea of how far into it you were.
I saw that there was thoughts of dropping, and Senjin did, are the other 3 of you (Neva, Rutter, and Copper) staying in for sure? Also, I'm a strict GM, so I hope you don't mind but I track encumbrance (and rations, but in town it shouldn't be an issue).
If you three are fine with me taking over the game, I will jump into the discussion and we can talk applicants.

Copper Fratello |

Ive posted in the game's discussion board, asking them about Aardvark for the GM spot (which I cant see them turning down since your the only applicant lol), and both Rayne and Filios as players.
We had been content with continuing with only 4 before Senjin dropped, but 5 is fine with me, is everyone is ok with it.
Also, Im perfectly fine with a GM being strict on rations/encumbrence. I might have to double check what all Copper is carrying, but I did calcuate it out when I built the character.

Felgar Stoutaxe |

Felgar's profile is up. His background, as it appears in the profile is as follows. Thanks for the consideration!
Background:
Felgar was born in the northern Mindspin Mountains. The Stoutaxe Clan are known for their fierce warriors, and Felgar is no exception. He is the veteran of many battles against the orcs of the Hold of Belkzen. He loves the thrill of battle, and he is deadly when he is weilding his Dwarven Waraxe.
Ten years ago, the battles became far and few between, and a gentle peace settled upon his homeland deep in their little part of the Mindspin Mountains. As a result many of the Stoutaxe Clan began to venture forth into the more civilized southern lands seeking adventure and the thrill of new foes.
Felgar traveled to KJaer Maga and Janderhoff where he became fairly well known as a nmercenary for hire. When he heard rumors of discourse and rioting in Korvosa after the death of their monarch, he jumped at the opportunity to ply his skills. Upon reaching Korvosa, he joined the Korvosa Guard under the leadership of Field Marshall, Cressida Kroft.

The other players and I agree. Aardvark, if you are still interested, we would love for you to take over GMing the game for us.
Also, we both cast full support for both Rayne and Felgar to join as players, though, if Aardvark is taking up the GM mantle, obviously he gets a voice in that decision (and final player count).
Those decisions, I suppose, we will leave to you, Aardvark.
I'll also vouch for Pravlox. He is the GM in a game Im playing in now, and is a frequent poster.

Thank you for your support. Hope Aardvark feels the same way.

If you are still open to characters for selection, I know my Parneth is probably not what you want, as the group will be too heavy on Clerics, so I was thinking of a Shoanti Barbarian,
His father (and hence his family) were exiled from his homelands for conducting necromantic magical experiments. The boy, aged about 14, though destined for honor as a warrior for the tribe, but this was taken from him by his father's dishonor.
Taken to Korvosa, he went straight from the wilds to work in the docks drawing a small amount of money in wages. With his exceptional strength, even as a boy he would do a man's work. As he grew into a man, he grew more handsome, attracting the eyes of the Green Parrot Innkeeper's daughter. Despite the reluctance of Charie's father, eventually the two became engaged and married. Life was good for a while, until it happened. One evening when the mists came in early, his wife, on her way back to the Green Parrot was set upon by by a gang. They robbed her and left her bleeding in the gutter. By midnight, Qar was mourning the loss of his beloved. A week later he was wanting revenge on Gaedrun Lamm.
Character sheet 1
Character Sheet 2
Personality wise, dislikes magic, particularly arcane...pretty intimidating sort...is over 6ft tall, rippling muscles, but handsome with it. Traits, maybe at home in armor, from his traing when he was in the tribe, and widower from the campaign. Will look at APG if any archetypes fit the bill...contemplating a bit of a knuckleduster type too....maybe made a few gold as a pit fighter...
It's a bit rushed and needs more work to finish it off, but that's the size of it.

Okay, now I know how hard it is to have to pick players, but I've decided.
In this case, based on the beating the group has had with getting through this, to now be on their 3rd DM.
I'm going to go with:
Pravlox
Felgar
Between the two fighters, it came down to the recommendations. Normally I wouldn't focus on it, but the way this PbP has gone through both players and DM's, I needed stability. The posters with a rep for activity won in this case.
Sorry, Rayne and Deevor.
