For a while there it wasn't certain which State I had to be in as I was on two lists... just the exercises were 300 odd km's apart.
Looks like I am going to get to start as an oracle for healing purposes. Was thinking about 1 level of fighter for weapon proficiencies.

Scan back through his posts - there was a trial like 15 years ago and all of us had a friend/family member/someone we knew who was on the jury. ZZ wants us to have a name to tie everything together.

I think there's only one party now, of 6. Two other people dropped, and I think I'm dropping as well because I haven't started a character yet, and I'm too busy the next few days to guarantee I can finish one.
Also, if the past week has said anything about what the rest of my semester is going to look like, I probably wouldn't have had time for it anyway.

Now sitting around after being out long enough to get wet and muddy, and then not having key pers to do what we came for; so it's back for tea and biscuits, and hours cleaning all the gear we never got to use.

Hurry up and Wait is actually ameasure of time in the military,haha. As is stand around till the end of the day till I decide to tell you we have a whole day of work to complete before you can go home.
It is a mesure of time indeed.
Similarly we too suffer the 'sit around for hours awaiting orders, on 5 minutes notice to move' and then at the end of the day get told to do heaps of work; but now 'move with a sense of urgency, we dont have all day!'.

Just realized Vidor looks a bit like the picture Sable posted of himself a while back, lol.
Prudence is number 1, Feytharn. Without this virtue one would find themselves in a great deal of trouble on a daily basis. But, with the fascination with combatives I now wait till we have battery level training to beat the snot out of all those who have managed to piss me off during the times between, lol.
Out of curiosity, is anyone here interested in playing Gamma World (Current Ed.)? I just picked the sucker up and am looking it over as we speak. This would be my first foray into the DM side of things, but it seems like a decent place to start, being that it is not as involved as a D&D,Pathfinder,ect. campaign can be. I would prefer to play with you folks as we are about as close to friends as a group of internet peeps can be,haha.

As I said this will be my first go at it, but I am in the research phase and collecting the info as I go. I really like the premise of Gamma World as it offers a divergence from the twinked out fantasy characters we now play almost exclusively. I will be ableto aid those without the rules along as it is pretty simple and d20.

Started an IC thread for Heart of Journeys. It's only a do by now, since the campaign will start in medias res. Therefore we will start when Shifty and Sable have returned from their weekend trips.
Too bad, brother. If you ever find the time or peep in to find that the pace is slow enough for you get in on it, hop on in unannounced. In fact, once I get my bearings with the thing the occassional unannounced PvP encounter sounds fun and whacky Gamma Worldy to me.
