Apparently what WE want doesn't always factor in :) Sadly it was a case of assets being yanked because there was something cooler on. That yanking meant we got nada for fun and profit. Just wet and dirty for no appreciable gain (other than a days pay).

Heart of Journeys is the only new campaign. If it is not for us, then whoever the players are are going to have a really ticked off ogre warrior, tiefling fighter, evagelists and several wizards - which will really suck for them.

I guess even the demon would be bored to death by the scholars that wrote this book, argh.
Yep - I think that your scholars would over analyze the meaning being consumed by a demon lord and that his symbol actually meant that the demon lord had a tough upbringing and was deserted by his parents. We will have to find some other method of stopping these guys.

Also, this was all in the area of the Worldwound. Talk about it with ZZ, but it should probably lead to some resentment by you, but if you want to role play that, I have no problem.

As I said, I have no problem with it, but I think that usually the "foreign" influence is more than 1 generation back. I really have no problem with it. It is up to you with how you would want to mix it up.

You still have elf listed on your character sheet. In that case, then the starting age should be younger, lie 25-35 or so, check the page. As a sorcerer since it is a inborn magic, not learned, you have more flexibility with your age. I had no idea that we were going to have two gold dragon sorcerers in the party, might have chosen another instead. I am actually only taking 1 level of sorcerer, my plan it to have a huge mix of classes in the end, it will be interesting.
Are you planning, or considering becoming an Arcane Archer? Your build - high Charisma and high Dex would work great. Take levels of Sorcerer and then a few fighter levels and you can get some cool archery stuff.
Oh whoops! Well, maybe... I was thinking about arcane archer but just as a side class. I'm not sure. Who is the other golden dragon? If it is a duplicate I can rework Nymeria, I want to play a dragon sorcerer but I am equally excited about the arcane archer class. If I switch to that, I will probably go full-elf. Thoughts?

ZZ/Nymeria - I do not think that they will be identical, I do not plan on taking Sorcerer until level 3 and then will go Dragon Disciple. I think with Nymeria's stats, changing to Arcane Archer would be a great character. If Nymeria wants to stay gold dragon, I can easily change my background to copper, silver, brass, or bronze.
Whatever you like to play is fine with me :)
btw: looking at the modules, we might meet a dragon later :)
Okay, well I might switch Nymeria then. Instead of redoing the character entirely, I may simply whip up an all new, bigger, badder, elf. This would be easy enough to substitute in though.

No - Nymeria - stick with what you have. I am planning on going fighter/oracle/sorcerer/dragon disciple/mystic theurge (yeh, it will be hard to fit that in the class level box on the character sheet). We have at least three buff fighters (me, ogre man, and the evangelist), you being a sorcerer/arcane archer would be great. Another option would be to go arcane trickster and take some rogue levels since we do not have a real skill monkey/rogue in this group. Remember, both arcane archer and arcane trickster require that you have some arcane ability, so starting as a sorcerer is good.
@ HOJs: I know it's hard to distinguish the NPCS, but it is very important that you keep in mind who is who and memorize how they act/what they do etc.
