Hehehe - I have the original Gamma World boxed set. Think I played it once. Looked like a cool game, just never got anyone who wanted to play it and then it went into a box for 30 years.GAMMA WORLD!! Don't recall exactly - I believe it is all post nuclear-apocolypse. I think that many people had lost all contact with technology, so when an old place with machines and computers is found, it requires checks of some sort. As I said, I have not looked at the stuff in almost 30 years, so I am a little rusty on exactly what it is.

Probably have Boot Hill somewhere and the one in outer space, don't recall the exact name - Star Frontiers or some such. I think that DMHW has the Gang Busters set. It is possible I have another one as well, but I am not sure. Most of my stuff is AD&D - all the monster manuals, fiend folio, tons of character handbooks, a pile of modules, stuff of that nature. I also have about 150 Dragon magazines, from like #80-220 or so and some odds and ends of earlier ones.

I like the way Paizo has set up the aliases now. If you go to your main character and click on the Campaigns tab, it lists all the campaigns for all your aliases and shows which ones have new posts. Maybe it has always been this way, but I just discovered it yesterday, and must say it makes it much easier to see what you have to read.

Yeah, it's not about gestures or or facial expression, I think my voice just sounds a bit different...hard to explain that and I guess it's just a tiny change. However, I have observed that with other language students, too.
I have read and written English since I was 11 and I only practiced it in school. When I was fourteen we went to the U.S. for some months to visit our relatives there (Long Island N.Y.), that was my first contact to native speakers. When I was like 18, I went to the UK to spent half a year in an exchange program.

You’ll find the campaign link and info under my profile. It’s fundamentally a labour of love – my Pathfinder conversion of the old TSR modules The Sentinel and The Gauntlet. Drawing heavily on Norse, Old English and Slavic myth to create an "old world feel" - its part mystery, part horror, part sandlot and all saga!
Games currently on a slow burning phase, pretty roleplay heavy and establishing the atmosphere etc, but it'll liven up plenty soon enough. :)

Sorry - I do not think I can speed up many more campaigns. I am applying for 1-2 more right now, then I will be maxed out. Shooting for Mark Sweetman's new campaign right now - looks really cool delving into an old dwarven mine filled with undead. Figure a dwarven monk would work well in a mine.

I'll also start one new campaign next month, an original Paizo AP and I'll let the players choose which one they would like. Everything except Kingmaker is ok-Kingmaker only if a player does the mapwork.

Lol - I have finished checking all my campaigns now, so I am turning to adding unnecessary comments to the discussion boards and recruitment threads. I suppose I should actually get some real work done, but that will get finished before it is due, so no concerns.
*Sigh* I wish I felt more confident in my ability to take on another game but as it is, I feel like I'm barely managing Bree with what I know of D&D and having Sable's mind to pick at whim.
I'm a big fan of CotCT, but I'm pretty familiar with the content having DM'd the campaign into the fourth module a few years ago. I'm already in a Kingmaker campaign, so probably wouldn't join if another one popped up around the campfire... but anything else--I've actually been looking for another game lately.
Council of Thieves has always looked fun to me :)

There isn't much that's Garund specific, most of the info is centered on Belkzen - but a quick scan revealed...
Shattered Skull Clan - in mountains NW of Mwangi, harass the tribes and occasionally surge into W Katapesh.
There are Jungle and Mountain versions too.
Sun-Blasted Trait: have learnt to survice with practically nothing. +2 on Survival in a desert and +4 against getting lost.
Theres a tiny bit more on the Pahmet - which I assume the Ouat are a subsection of... but yeah, not much.
Thanks. same as the dwarves, eh? All I found in Dark Markets was that all the endemic orc tribes had been killed off. I def think gnolls are meant to be the main villians in the Garundi arid lands, but I might throw in a clan of hybrid orc scavengers for fun.
It does say that there are orcs there - just doesn't give you much detail.
That being said - a Mwangi orc invasion when they're hooped up on mushrooms would be a fun thing to spring on em....

Voodoo - just remembered that I can actually search PDFs for words. Garund is mentioned a grand total of twice in Orcs of Golarion. Once in the entry for Jungle Orcs, and the second in the preview for Guide to the Inner Sea.
Katapesh is listed as a favored region for orcs and half-orcs, but not much else.
Even checked the book on Osirion for you since it is next door - but that doesn't have the word orc in it even once.

Spoiler:OK, here are the basic instructions for the assignment, they're pretty simple, although I have some other questions as well:Find and international student or other person who regularly uses more than one language. Interview him or her with regard to code-switching behavior. In which situations does he/she use language "A," in which language "B."
1. Does he/she think in one or both of the languages?
2. Are they ever intermixed?
3. What gestures, body language, personality changes, etc., accompany switches in language?(Some questions of my own that I think would have been useful here:)
4. When reading or listening to someone speaking your non-primary language, do you find that you translate what is being said into your primary language?
5. As above, do you find that you formulate your response in your primary language and then translate them into the non-primary language in order to respond?
Just in case you are interested in more answers, I am, like Zyren, a German native speaker.
1) In english enviroments, I tend to think englsih. sometimes, especially during roleplaying sessions with my friends in germany, when using an english modeule, for example, I actually have to concentrate to present the information I thought about in english in my native tongue (not when the interaction with the players is rolling, then the written text becomes less improtant then the discussion, so I 'switch' to german.
2) Unfortunatly, see 1, and I probably mix up some German grammar in my English from time to time. My high school teacher told me, I had a very 'intuitive use' of the English language.
3) None that I notice
4)No, at least not in English, but when trying to understand something in a language I have only little knowledge of, certainly.
5) No, even if I am missing certain vocabulary, I'd rather substitute or describe the word I'd like to use then to pre formulate and try to translate it.
I speak english as a second language since the age of 12, though I had to repeat seventh grade (first grade with enlish lessons, I startet out with latin) because of my bad english grade. When I discovered my interest in English literature (Shakespeare, Tolkien, Lovecraft) a year later, my grades improved rapidly as did my grasp of the English language. Since then I trained it mainly through movies and book (and roleplaying books). I never spent more then two weaks in England or the USA (but I spend much time in a natve Irish pub between the age of 19 and 24...), though I was told during that time, I was nearly indistiguishable from a native speaker. Nowadays my reading and listening comprehension is much better then my level of speaking due to lack of practice.
