As somebody that seems close to her what is your opinion on what makes Kyra so popular as an iconic? I know she's my favorite, and am not alone in thinking that. I rarely hear of anybody that doesn't like her even if she isn't their favorite and they like another iconic better.
She's the most beautiful. She's the nicest and most kind-hearted. She's good at healing your physical and spiritual wounds. She has an awesome accent. She's a snappy dresser. She wears functional armor. She has an awesome hat. She stabs pretty damn good. She's my favorite too!

Does she stab though? I thought she slashed?

Also is she the most beautiful?

She slashes, but only when there's no other choice. Usually I'm done stabbing before she needs to slash.

And yes, she is the most beautiful. That's the first thing I said, but I sure as hell don't mind repeating it.

She's the most beautiful!

I though you were the most beautiful Iconic?

Also which do you like more Kyra regular appearence or her mythic appearence?

Does Kyra accept your open to your relationship or is she just as wonton as you in that regard?

What's your response to people who say Ninjas are better than Rogues at stabbing things to death?

Well, thanks! But that just suggests to me that you haven't seen Kyra. Or Seoni or Amiri or Lini or Alhazra or Seelah or the rest...

I prefer another appearance entirely.

Wonton? As in the Tien noodle? That makes no sense!

That they're due for a stabbing by a rogue. Or a ninja. Or both.

Which is more worrisome; a female talking about stabbing, or a male talking about stabbing?

Guy St-Amant wrote:

Being stabbed doesn't care who stabs you. Hurts all the same, so they're equally worrisome, given the lack of any information about WHO is doing the stabbing.

Example. I'd be more worried about Amiri stabbing me than Lem. Nothing against you, Lem, but Amiri's sword weighs more than I do.

*stab*

*cure light wounds*

At least you'd see her coming.

Lem the Halfling wrote:

Which makes it all the more terrifying because you get to see her coming and you know you're going to be stabbed and know there is nothing you can do.

Where as when you, Lem, stabs someone, no one even knows it coming, so they don't get that sense of fear. Without the fear being involved, there is just something missing from the stabbing.

If you had a pet what would you name it? Do you even think having one would be plausible with all the adventuring you do?

I'm not sure about that. Considering Lem's height and the area of the body where that would lend himself to stabbing others I think Lem could inspire much terror with his stabiness in a lot of people. Some might consider what Amiri would do by comparison to be not nearly as bad.

What I'd name a pet would depend greatly on its personality and what kind of critter it was. Having a pet would be cool, though. Although the inevitable point where the pet dies would not be cool.

Are undead pets out of the question? Cause they don't die of old age...

Eww. Gross. I'd rather have a pet bat.

Say you meet an alternate timeline version of yourself who was raised with your biological parents. How do you react or what do you do?

What about a skeleton and calling him Mr.Bones or Skeky.

Probably wouldn't like fakeo Merisiel at all. She sounds like a chump.

What about them? They're still undead. Why would that change my answer at all? It wouldn't

Now you're suggesting a pet I don't like with a name I find silly. Not sweetening the deal.

Let's put it this way.

I am not a fan of undead, and would rather not be involved with them in any way. Because they're nasty and gross and foul.

This is "Ask Merisiel", not "Ask Valeros".

What if say it was a living kitty you had that loved you and when it passed it came back as a ghost to be with you and make you not sad until you passed away too finally and then you could both go into the afterlife together?

Have you ever thought about making friends with outsiders? They don't age, and there is a very wide variety of them to suit people of all personalities.

Of course they aren't always easy to get in contact with, but an great adventurer like yourself should be able to find a way. Some fey friends might work also.

I'll admit that for both of those, sometimes even the ones most like the person meeting them, can seem kind of alien, but that might be part of the fun.

Turns out, yeah... I'm kinda grossed out by blood-drinking mind-rapists.

Yes... It's better than that hat. That hat tries too hard.

Stab. Slash. The end result is you bleeding in the dirt, so it's all good!

What if when I said I don't like undead I knew what I was talking about and thus meant that I don't like undead, which includes any type of undead you might be able to come up with?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Outsiders are weird. They have strange agendas and come at things in unusual angles or with strange notions. The fact that they don't age is only one of the things that helps make them hard to relate to.

Plus... knowing how it feels to watch your friends grow old and die... I'm not all that eager to inflict that particular form of hell on anyone I might consider a friend.

With the lady on page 33 of Ultimate Combat and now Jirelle coming on the scene are you worried about others encroaching on your attractive, dazzling, female, elven, swashbuckliness territory?

If not do you ever see yourself teaming up with them in the future?

Not at all! I've actually hung out a little with Jirelle, and she's really cool! And that lady from Ultimate Combat is a nobody anyway. She doesn't even have a name. I love her hat though.

Do you think their might be something between Seoni and Valeros?

Do you think there might be something between Alain and his mirror? Does his mirror get jealous when he stares at other reflective surfaces?

Have you ever met Tessa Fairwind? If so, what did you think of her?

zergtitan wrote:

Heh... doubt it. Seoni's too into being the boss, and Valeors is too into being the class clown.

Although... Hmm.

It ended in an ugly breakup when Alain noticed a large pimple on his nose - he felt ugly and broke the mirror, that is.

Is Alain really that bad?

I got done reading through Inner Sea Combat, and I'm wondering about something. Did you ever win the battle against that Aldori Swordlord you are shown facing off with? Are they as good as people in Golarion think they are?

Of course I won! I'm the heroine of the story, after all!

Their skill level varies.
