Swallow Whole + Guns - Need some kind of addedum

In light of the whole T-Rex versus a troop of gun wielding troops I noticed that with the current set of swallow whole rules, by RAW you can't use your firearm to do anything while you're in it's belly. This ought to be changed because:

1. The rule of cool dictates that one ought to fire a weapon inside another creature, as seen in countless TV and movies.

2. While firearms aren't light weapons, if the thing is loaded then pulling the trigger is trivial. The broad categories for light and one-handed don't really do a good job of representing this. Reloading... sure that's an issue, but just pulling the trigger isn't much of an effort.

This is definitely an ability that if added, would be considered COOL immediately! I would even be comfortable with added damage inside a creature's belly... :)

This depends on the firearms in use. The default assumption I have been working on is a flintlock or matchlock, both of which would probably end up useless inside the gullet of the beast since the match would probably go out or the powder would get wet. Percussion cap firing would fare much better.

Of course, that's meaningless if we're following the rule of cool. If a PC made an impassioned case for their stone-cold killer to loose their crossbow, pistol or musket after being consumed than I'd probably allow it. I'm not sure it needs specific rules, but I wouldn't object either.

I've long houseruled that you can use one handed weapons when swallowed, but you suffer a 50/50 chance to hit yourself with said weapon.

A stomach is not a spacious jacuzzi where you are getting mildly roughed up by the bubble jets. Its more like being stuffed inside one of those vacuum sealed storage bags then thrown inside a washing machine. Trying to cut your way out of it with anything bigger than a knife is asking for the pointy end in your own nose. Same with a gun.
